OnePlus One.

I think the battery drain is a general Lolipop issue, not a OPO issue - may be wrong though
It is.
Ive seen the same issue on multiple android devices.
Its caused by PlayServices and is a wake lock issue. Its not a Lollypop issue.

Lollipop just seems like such a half-baked update. I may dislike iOS but Apple seem to test their updates before releasing them...

I'm not trying to turn this into an Android flamewar. I just know the iPhone doesn't have awful battery life after an update.
ah ha, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

No worries. :)

In other news, for those that are having touchscreen issues:

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a substantial amount of feedback regarding touchscreen issues. Before an informed response could be given, first we investigated the case thoroughly. We wanted to get the full picture of what could be causing this issue, as well as prepare a number of solutions.

Although percentage-wise the number of touchscreen cases is very small, we understand that our user base is very vocal. We take your feedback seriously and have been putting the One through a battery of tests and determined that there are different issues at play, some software and some hardware. We have, and will continue, to stand behind our products and honor warranty.

Working closely with Synaptics, we will soon be releasing a final firmware fix. If you would rather not wait and are experiencing any issues, touchscreen or otherwise, please contact our support team. We are constantly making changes and improving our service level. If a previous interaction with support left you unsatisfied, we encourage those who believe their devices are affected by this issue to try again.

As always, our users are our number one priority and we would like to thank you all for your patience and continued confidence in us. Never Settle.

Regarding your work emails try K-9 Mail. I use it now instead of the default apps for work email and it's pretty good.

As for Virgin & BBC... no idea :)

cheers, will have a look...

more problems with it, in messages some of my contacts only show up with their number rather than their name - they are definitely in my contacts lists but the names just don't show up, might just go back the way as spending too much time faffing with things which didn't need "improved"

No worries. :)

What a load of crap and more lies from 1+. The original thread "Touchscreen issues? We hear you" was started last year.

It was proven 10 months ago by many users that it was a earth problem. 1+ moved the thread around so people can't find it.

All they are doing is making people wait so they can't get a pay pal refund.

Too late, and i dont beleive it will ever be fixed. ive been on their support ticket merry go round with the issue for the last two weeks.

Got rid of mine and replaced it with a Nexus 6. Its so pleasant to have a responsive device again.

Dont think i would go near them again.

My touchscreen has been a bit odd actually today while typing.. seems to be skipping some presses.. Noo :(

Restarted earlier but no different.. maybe it will be OK tomorrow :p

I love the phone bur can't be wasting time having to backspace and re-type things..

I loved my OPO too before the touch issues. There are still things I preferred on it over my N6.
I owned one previously and returned it due to really bad touch issues. Just hoping it doesn't get to that stage again.

Not sure what alternatives there are on the market, obviously there's the obvious iPhones and Galaxy devices..

From the sounds of it I'm going to be very careful with my phone now, won't be leaving it in sunlight or so
