OnePlus One.

Interesting... I don't have my phone back yet - would someone who has touchscreen issues mind trying out the nightly and reporting back please?

Cheers,

Su
I was having touch issues last night when typing, just felt like a massive lag.. This morning again it was ok - very inconsistent and strange how the issues come and go..

I'm on CM11S so couldn't use the link you sent, but I've just flashed Boeffla-Kernal here on v2.8 http://forum.xda-developers.com/one...ernel-boeffla-kernel-1-0-2-0-beta-09-t2899974 as that apparently has the driver ported from CM12.1

Will have to wait a few days to try and see if its made any difference. Hopefully - otherwise I think I'm going to get a new phone again :(

I have no idea if this is true, but from the AP comments:

Sadly it is just workaround.
It is smart idea to fix hardware issue by resseting touchscreen every few seconds.
But result is battery drain if you are user that use phone and not just keep it in a standby.

Wouldn't surprise me...

If the touchscreen issues have supposedly been fixed I would hope that we will see an "official" OTA update before too long!

I haven't had issues since flashing Boeffla-Kernal 2.8 on CM11S... need more time though to say if it's fixed it or not.

Even if what Sumanji said is true and there is a drain on battery. I don't care personally... The battery life is excellent so I can go 24 hours every time without needing to charge it. I'd rather lose a bit of battery but have a reliable touch screen.

Is there a way to prevent my OnePlus One auto-downloading the CM12 OS update? The battery life on it is horrible and I want to stay on KitKat on one of my devices anyway.
It doesn't auto download it? It will probably remind you a few times a day about it, but should never auto download...

I think I got a good 'un, no battery problems with Lollipop and no screen issues either

Feel for you guys that do :(

Ok last night I installed the latest CM Nightly build. So far no problems and no touchscreen issues and battery performance has also been good. (Lost 6% overnight)

Performance is also good.

Same here, and I've been sat in pub gardens with my phone on the table in the sun and still no issues.

The battery isn't as good as on 11S but thats more of a Lolipop issue.

TBh al lot of the battery life issues seem to be down to Google Now and Google Play Services from the bits I've read. As far as Lolipop goes, not just the OPO.

The fact we can use the privacy guard is a bonus. :)

Wasn't Lollipop supposed to improve battery life though? This is what I don't understand. It just seems to be such a buggy release.

There was a lot of talk about "Project Volta" at the L launch a year ago, and they have been VERY quiet during the Lollipop launch and since. Methinks they thought it was a good idea but totally fell over attempting it.
