Online coffee beans retailer

Well the Monsoon Malabar beans are exactly the same as the Rave ones for sure. Cracked open my bag this morning, the smell and taste was identical.

I’m certainly sticking to White Rose for a while.
I need to stick an order in so might give them a try cheers

Edit: ordered 1kg Malabar as well as a 250g bag of both Kenya AA Blue Mountain and Brazil Fazenda Inhame Controlled Fermentation.

Was very cheap. Will see if it's any good though :p

I got some beans from White Rose last week. Very cheap.

Main problem is they use bloody Evri/Hermes, so naturally it took a week to turn up and I had a coffee crisis  Guy was quite apologetic though.

The beans are OK, I got some of the Rwandan anaerobic natural, but it's a darker roast than I like and has lost a lot of the distinctive aroma I like from the anaerobic process. If they used a competent delivery service I'd probably try some different beans, but will be going elsewhere.

Oh that doesn't sound good @mid_gen - EVRi have typically been OK for me so I hope the beans arrive on time. Will see how this goes, if it's naff we'll stick with Rave or other highly-rated roasters.

I use Blackcatcoffee. Their Chocolate Point Blend is a strong and tasty coffee. I think it's £22 for a kilo and costs a couple quid for 48 delivery via Royal Mail.

I like to mix up my roasters occasionally, they're all quite different.

For a good filter blend, I like the American Diner Blend from 47degrees. 22.50 for a kilo delivered.

The Tobacco Road blend is a very distinctive, malty blend that makes a really rich and deep espresso.

Also get stuff from Wogan every now and then, their one offs are good. Just ordered 1kg of the anaerobic natural :

Neighbourhood Coffee are good for fruity light roasts.

Dark Woods coffee I used to really like, but their prices have gone completely insane, they can do one.

Yes. Had the same problem here with my initial order. The guy got lost in my area despite Evri successfully delivering another item the day before. Rave used Royal Mail who were always spot on. Still for the money savings I'll take that additional bit of hassle.

Has anyone ever tried CWorks? Love Coffee Kev's videos and he nearly always plugs his coffee business, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone mention it.
I've not tried CWorks but I had a little look on the website just now. 25% off first order is tempting.

Used up the last of our Rave beans this morning. Waiting on White Rose to arrive. Taking it's time @mid_gen :p

All we have for backup is that GRIND coffee we purchased on the MSE deal a few weeks back. Three different types of bean all come out high speed / low pressure despite being on the finest possible grind. Taste isn't great either.
