Online coffee beans retailer

Used up the last of our Rave beans this morning. Waiting on White Rose to arrive. Taking it's time @mid_gen :p

All we have for backup is that GRIND coffee we purchased on the MSE deal a few weeks back. Three different types of bean all come out high speed / low pressure despite being on the finest possible grind. Taste isn't great either.
White Rose is off my list because of Hermes....and the roast is far too dark for my tastes. Probably bin it tbh, or find something else to use the beans for that isn't drinking.

On a Wogan anaerobic natural now, much better.

Those that use Hormozi, what's your favourite blend or bean for a black coffee.

I don't drink black sorry.

But basically the one I have been ordering for quite some years from them now is the smooth blend / arabica 100%.

I have it light roasted, works out at £12.66 a KG if you buy 3kg at once.

I love it, and I think it's great value.

Order from White Rose arrived today. No email or delivery card. In fact, I didn't realise until I decided to check the tracking history to see "delivered" and so checked outside and found that it had been left out back. Not usually an issue but it has been bucketing down today. Box is gone but coffee seems OK. I hope it's good quality as I've already got a kilo of awful beans to offload...

I've never had to boycott a courier before but this is probably enough for me to think twice before using EVRi/Parcel2Go again.

I didn't order from white rose in the end i went with wogan, i ordered yesterday afternoon and it was delivered this morning, really fast delivery. I've not tried it yet as I've still got half a bag to use and want expecting it to arrive till after the bank holiday.

Tried the White Rose Malabar this morning. No time to let the beans rest due to not having any decent alternative.
It has an interesting foamy crema, similar to Rave's offering but not as much volume and doesn't last as long. It has a nice flavour to it. Not quite as nice as Rave India Monsoon Malabar in my and my wife's opinions but for the price difference I'm more than happy. Thanks for the recommendation @Kainz

Hmmm I have a similar experience and ended up messing with my machine settings as I thought something was wrong.

I have a ton of crema and not much coffee volume if that makes sense.

Picked up something different to try this time. Got a bag from Rave of their Rwandan Burega. Medium roast, high altitude, washed beans. They've got a really earthy smell, quite a nice tea like texture buthas quite a significant dry finish.

Worth a look in if you fancy something a bit different.

The White Rose beans have been so impressive. We're putting another order in soon, even though they use EVRi. Will make sure to order them well before we run out.

Hmm I'm puzzled as to what to do. The Monsoon beans just don't give me the volume of coffee I'm used to and I don't know why. As said I get a ton of crema in my first shot so I end up having two shots worth.

I'm down to about half a bag now (1kg) so I may go back to Rave to see what experience I have with their variant.

I thought your machine was spot on with the MM beans from White Rose?
Can you set your machine to a finer grind?
