unfortunatly i think not stable for the moment, the vcore was 1.475v.maybe if i up the vcore more i might get it stable but i am wary of pushing too far.
my cooler is a arctic freezer 7 pro.seems to do a grand job.
and my ram is patriot pc-2 7200 ddr2 900,which got to windows for that screenie with 1120mhz at 2.4vmem.how is this possible?
just getting to windows with this oc is imho pretty amazing anyway, specially with such a relativley low vcore.i have seen 4ghz oc'd 6300's needing 1.5v.

i am not going to run it at that 24/7,i run it at 3.2ghz(460fsb) with vcore set to 1.25v in the bios.

From a 6300???!!!!! Sure you dont mean 6600???!!!

There are people on this forum who are struggelling to get that from a 6600 using water cooling never mind a 6300 on AIR!!

EDIT: How come your voltage is shown in your first screenie but not the second one?

nope a 6300-http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=119242

there are a couple more in that forum if you look around too i'm sure.

EDIT-dont know,i edited the cpu-z ini to show the vcore.theres a switch,show vcore=0,i changed it to 1.

my vcore is shown on neither of the 3.9ghz screenies.

Stable at 2.8GHz if I use a low memory divider on stock vcore. Stable enough for benchmarks at 2.8GHz on the 166 divider but my RAM doesnt like 233MHz so its not stable for folding@home - max stable from the RAM is 229MHz. I'm held back by my nForce3 motherboard - it wont do above 280MHz FSB stable as I tried 300 x 9 and that rebootetd itself as soon as Windows had loaded.

Nothing special.

I get 4Ghz 24/7 easy-peasy.

And I also won the lottery too, and I am happily married. :D

Seriously mate, thats one impresive clock!!!

Have you managed a SuperPI?
so where is your proof? forgive me but im not going to trail through 28+ pages to see it, from what i see you might have some intel 805?

Will someone give me a hand overclocking. I overclocked every CPU i had with DDr, but scared by all these new numbers!!!

Add me to Msn (In trust)

I have:
E6600 at stock
2Gb DDr2 667mhz Kingston 5300
Intel BadAxe (rev 2? i think)
580watt Tagan PSU
Artic freezer 7 (Should i replace for a Tunic?)
8800GTX

Cheers guys, would really appreciate any form of overclock you can get me !!

The Artic is a great cooler... Dont replace it unless you get HOT! ( you wont )

So...

Take the RAM out of the PC and stand on it until you hear it go crunch.

Now, order some decent stuff from OCUK and then come back when thats done.

Seriously mate... That RAM ( I got the same stuff ) is already on the edge at 266FSB.

Your CPU is 266FSB.

You need to take the FSB up higher...

That aint gonna happen unless your Mobo has a 2/1 divider, so does it?

Have a look in the BIOS for somethign that will let you know this first, otherwise its bin-time.
