Got my mag through the door the other day - Have to say... this will be the first game for my Wii since Mario Strikers and Resident Evil 4.

Apparently, the ENTIRE ONLINE experience is the best seen on the Wii to date with MANY MANY features.

Anyone else read the review?

+ That addictive Mario Kart Gameplay
+ Fantastic Fun In Multiplayer
+ Loads of online options
+ The new stunt system is great
+ The Wii Wheel Works well

Comment:
We were worried that Nintendo would drop the ball on this one - how foolish we were. Mario Kart Wii is a fantastic racer and the best online Nintendo game ever.

What does it say about the online battlemod ?

After the utter rubbish that was the gamecube battlemod i am little bit worried :(
 
:eek: what the hell, hows it coming out so soon... thought it'd be like late summer or something. godammit and i said to myself no more games for 2 months and this happens

Don't play stupid with me. It has been an intended technique since MK64, you'd have to be blind to not notice that.

And the final nail in the coffin, a few of the staff ghosts snake.

There used to be a guide on snaking on the official nintendo website but I can't find their game hints section at the moment.

I love how pathetic the anti snaking lot can be with their excuses :)

Don't know about snaking, still MK on the wii is a must buy (i still play the snes version) it has a lot to live upto but nintendo are good at delivering on these premium games.
 
I personally have never used snaking, or played against anyone who snakes. Just seems to me that it's taking what is supposed to be a fun game a little too seriously, whether intended by the developers or not.

Do the CPU controlled drivers snake?
 
Clearly the developers have decided that snaking would take away from the enjoyment of playing mario kart online. I've loved every mario kart installment up until now, so i have faith in their decision.
 
You can take a few percent off with it being ONM (why are all the Nintendo mags dire?) but I can say that I'm thoroughly looking forward to it. Don't care if snaking is in it or not.
