Is quite funny.
Just been playing online, 2 player online is awesome, a mate and i were having great fun. Seemed to come in the top 3 all the time.

I find the nunchuk and wii remote the best solution. It's nice to have the rumbe and the ability to flick the wii remote for wheelies and tricks.

This game - and soleley this game is stopping me buying a ps3 and making me buy a wii 
Just played with that bike for the first time and got caught out on how much it turns in on the start of a drift.
Quoted for the utmost truth.
Brawl is superb! Link is still awesome in this one, was always my favourite ever since the first, never had melee.

My mate's still got the japanese Superfamicom version (ntsc) of the original, (faster than the PAL rubbish) honestly, it still not only stands up against all the newer versions but quite honestly wipes the floor with them, I really don't understand why they took one of the best racing games ever made and ruined it with the rubbish they've subsequently spewed out, the only other Kart that came anywhere near the 1st was super circuit on the GB advance and even that messed about with the slide buttons by only having one....honestly, it's shameful..., how could nintendo get it so wrong, it's like giving the Mona Lisa a perm and drop earring's.

i always regretted them removing the coins that you collect to make you speed up and lose if you get hit making you slow down from the snes version in later versions. Added another element to the game.
Yeah my brother was on about that too, slightly disappointing.See if you play two players online..... can only the first player receive ranking points? The second player always seems to show as a guest even though it is a Mii that is selected.
this is the best mario kart I've played since the snes version. Purely because of the online, and I havnt come across a bad track yet. Never really got on with the ds version, probably because I never bothered playing online.
