But I thought Biffa & Baba would find this interesting: A dual socket Motherboard (albeit a concept for now): LGA1366 & LGA2011 but both can be utilised at the same time. Happy days if released - would proove to be my next major upgrade. Asus too As an alternative there is also the rumoured SR-2 replacement: http://motherboardnews.com/2011/06/05/evga-working-on-x79-sr-2-replacement/ Edit: After further investigation - the rumours are true - and looks to be launching between 1 to 2 months after initial launch. One question that does come to mind is how would it overclock - will the new Xeons have unlocked multipliers like the desktop 'K' versions?
