Opinions on this first gaming PC build

Ram clock speeds will need to be manually set right? Everything I've seen suggests that? Or is it automatic now?

If it's ryzen . Ram calculator . Such a neat program . Even ram optimised for ryzen if improves greatly with timings ( not much real world performance but often works more without errors )

Personally don't look into much with QVL - lot of reps for different brands don't either haha

Which monitor would you choose:
Acer KG251QF 24.5" Full HD 144Hz FreeSync Gaming Monitor or AOC G2460FQ 24" 1920x1080 TN Widescreen 144Hz 1ms Gaming LED Monitor?

24.5" Acer KG251QF FHD Monitor, TN, 1920x1080, 144Hz, FreeSync, 1ms, 100M:1, 400cd/m², HDMI/DP/DVI, does this mean it does have HDMI? It's just the ACER is cheaper.

I'm sorry to keep bothering you, I just keep changing my mind! So I can either go for this:

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7GHz 8-Core Processor
Motherboard: Gigabyte - X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard
Memory: Patriot - Viper 4 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
Storage: Crucial - MX500 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB SC GAMING ACX 3.0 Black Edition Video Card
Case: Phanteks - ECLIPSE P400 ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: SeaSonic - FOCUS Plus Gold 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Other: Acer KG251Q 24.5" 144Hz Full HD Gaming Monitor
Total: £1396.47

OR

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6GHz 6-Core Processor
Motherboard: Gigabyte - X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING ATX AM4 Motherboard
Memory: Patriot - Viper 4 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
Storage: Crucial - MX500 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Storage: Seagate - Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1080 8GB WINDFORCE OC 8G Video Card
Case: Phanteks - ECLIPSE P400 ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: SeaSonic - FOCUS Plus Gold 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Other: Acer KG251Q 24.5" 144Hz Full HD Gaming Monitor
Total: £1337.54

Or, I could get the 2600x with 1070ti, which would save even more money. I'm just not sure whether the 2600x is going to be able to handle streaming long term, especially if I start playing higher intensity games. Also do I need 650W?

@Beth

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,387.02 (includes shipping: £14.10)

least all from OCUK - prob on of the best for customer service and RMA - along with rep on here from Gigabyte .
currently have a sale on for today only .
thats a 480GB SSD compared to 250gb youve listed

Check out gamer nexus for comparisons of speeds between x470 and x370. Spoiler, they didn't find any difference.

They also do streaming tests. From memory the 2600 is fine, but obviously a 2700x would be even better.

I've worked out that the keyboard and mouse are going to add up to £100, so I'm going to have to drop down to the 2600x I think. Do you know when the B450 motherboards are being released and whether they'll be cheaper then the one I've selected?

Keyboard and.moise £100.. have £10 keyboard and £5 mouse haha

And £1k worth of 5 ducky shine keyboards in boxes locked away so I can't really talk haha .

Keyboard and mouse is not worth going 2600/X over 2700/X . Not when your going to stream

@Beth thought about just slapping ryzen 1800x on sale here for £200 ? Saves £50+ and will match and neat ryzen 2700 . Should be able to overclock all for cores 4/4.1ghz easily so 0.1/2ghz slower the 2700x with all cores manually OC ???
