Opinions on this first gaming PC build

I know, I was just wondering whether it's ok that it only has VGA and not HDMI, DVI or DisplayPort.

Also, I know b-die RAM isn't essential but I could afford it if I bought Windows for cheap off eBay. Do you think it's worth the risk?

I'm sorry I keep asking questions, I just want to make sure I get the best for my budget.

Which video card would you pick?
1) Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 Ti WINDFORCE 8GB
2) EVGA - GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB SC GAMING ACX 3.0 Black Edition Video Card
3) KFA2 - GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB EX Video Card

Also, for RAM which one would you get?
1) ADATA - XPG Z1 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
2) Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory
3) G.Skill F4-3200C16D-16GTZB - 16GB (8GBx2) G.SKILL Trident Z DDR4 PC25600 3200MHz C16 Kit

Also, would you rather drop the second monitor and get the 2700?

Push the 2700 over a second monitor , when we say a 2nd monitor is highly worth it for streaming - we mean any monitor you can get a hold of, even £20 second hand 17" etc

Trident Z

Gigabyte or evga

As for ram i'd get this below and no i have not read all the posts in this thread...

I think this could be over your budget but if you want the best for your money performance wise then get below.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £227.69 (includes shipping: £8.70)

The timings are more lower then the ram you stated and that is a good thing.

Ok thanks, I think I'm going to get Evga as it's cheaper. Here (http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-Ryzen-7-2700-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-2600X/3957vs3956) it says that the 2600x is slightly better at gaming, however I assume the more cores on the 2700 makes it more worthwhile for streaming?

Also, I've just realised the Trident Z is a lot more than I though. Would it be much different to this: Patriot - Viper 4 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory?

Trident Z is Samsung B-Die .

With viper you'll have to track serial number to see if it is or not
Same Corsair Veng are, but you need to know serial codes etc

2700 will be better for streaming . Want same gaming performance the you overclock all cores to 4.1/4.2ghz

I can afford this build if I buy Windows for cheap or leave it unactivated for now, however I'm not sure whether I want to risk it? Also is it easy to swap out the hard drive if the 1TB gets full?

Will the 2700x last longer than the 2600x, in relation to future games?

@Beth

Google Riotoro enigma G2 650 . You'll find it for £67 quid, this is a rebranded Seasonic Focus unit including 10yr warranty

*** Damn good price for a seasonic focus unit at , £20 saving

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/seas...plus-gold-modular-power-supply-ca-05q-ss.html

Ryzen 2700 would save you £30 quid as well, manually overclock all cores to 4.1ghz

Phanteks p300 again saves another £20

PCP doesn't always show the best prices ;)

With HDD , you just had more drives when needed

So overall is this ok? I'm still not sure if the 2700x is too much, I just think if I'm not going to upgrade my CPU for a few years it's probably the better choice? Also, I was thinking of just leaving Windows 10 unactivated for now.

Sorry, that was the only option available on PCP so I just used it for the price. But I'm going to get the Enigma. Other than that is the build ok or can I save money?

Or I could get the SeaSonic - FOCUS Plus Gold 550W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply as it's a well known brand?

Won't list PCP on here, not a direct link anyway.

Again Engima is rebranded focus. Riotoro is formed from ex Corsair staff. Seasonic handle the repair work on the units which is carried out by a German company last time I checked. But again, quality of RMA is based on where you purchase from .
