Thx man. I've reduced my life to sleeping, eating and studying and I'm getting through the work well enough. I'm just kicking myself because if I'd put even an hour per day of work in during the year then I'd have breezed through the exams with very little effort. 20/20 hindsight etc. If I pass them I will have a 24 hour SC2 marathon to celebrate (after a pint :D).

lol! I love how when he completely fails the blink, then sees the overlord has been watching him fail to get up, then still blinks up, then when he gets up, runs his stalkers through their army, wastes his blink not escaping then manages to blame his team mates :-/ Any non-bronze player should know that you need vision to blink...

Yeah. He's right that the allied ovi should have been closer to give vision, but that's absolutely no excuse for attempting to blink up despite his screen showing him he didn't have any vision. And the fail only increases in magnitude from there.

He was BMing us after the game too saying we were terrible team mates. That's why my mate put the video on youtube, so we can send him it next time we see he's online :D
 
Just watched Annyung Prime vs Liquid Hero (ZvP).

Was one of those games were it shows how lategame is really bad for coinflip situations. It was basically Vortex being the decider which is so stupid =/

I didn't see the game but I agree... it's crazy having a 30 minute game decided by 1 vortex :-/ I was watching the same series but only saw from the 4th game onwards where Taeja all killed prime :eek:

I've seen a few high level ZvTs recently where Terran won and they seem to get 60-70 SCVs extremely fast off 3 CCs... Perhaps a more macro oriented style is the future of Terran in TvZ without spending too much trying and failing to slow the Zerg down earlygame? (As protoss I don't know too much about TvZ but am just commenting on observations)

Well I call BS on that Prime all-kill by Taeja. Maru,MKP and Creator just played absolutely horrid and it's uncharacteristic for Creator to be that bad.
I don't mean Taeja is a bad player, he's an ex-Slayers Terran so he has to be good but that was a match that was thrown if I've ever seen one.

A complete macro style doesn't work for Terran. Even now with the various styles floating round which all involve aggression Zerg basically gets Hive tech at 15/16mins and without aggression that becomes worse.
 
TvZ macro is all very well but the zerg can produce more drones off 1 hatchery (with injects) than we can off 3 command centres. Obviously the zerg is going to have 2 hatcheries so they have more than double our worker production and that's when T goes 3CC - our most eco-orientated build.
 
I havent played this since about 4 weeks aftet it released and im installing it again now. I think im gonna start the sp all over again (done about 20 levels) as i cant remember the plot. Then ill jump onto mp, i hear its a brilliant game for a learning curve. I shouldnt be left behind in the bronze stage will i, surely by now everyones on silver or gold?

There's still the majority of people in bronze-gold so you won't be alone and not all bronzers are as bad as it was once alright to assume. It's all a learning experience that can take a while to get a hold of.

The matches weren't thrown :-/ What point would there be to deliberately losing having gone up 3-0 with a relatively unknown player?

You can say all these styles don't work and make reasons why nothing terran can ever do will ever work against Zerg but terrans are making it work against far better zerg players than the average masters league zerg. I'm not saying that the matchup is balanced anymore but to have such a defeatist attitude of nothing can ever work against zerg is pointless.

Ah but if zergs have more drones, they will mine out faster too! Then they will lose minerals building new hatcheries and mining time having to transfer workers :cool:

Annyeong an unknown player? XD He may not be that good but he's not an unknown player.

Those matches were completely thrown, everyone past Annyeong made extremely questionable decisions and even made blatant mistakes (MKP forgot siege at one point and he had more than 2 tanks already out!). I'm not saying it was on purpose but it was an absolutely BS performance by Prime.

The only reason pros are winning against Zergs is that they can micro way better than the average masters player against Banelings and Infestors which take 10x less skill to use than the splitting required to survive them OR just trade efficiently.

The way TvZ is at the moment it just doesn't make sense. You can argue TvP is imbalanced also but at the very least it makes sense in what the Terran needs to do to win.

Doesn't matter, Zerg has the map control which makes them capable of getting extra bases depending on the map.

I wanted to be forever bronze, why oh why??

All it took was one easy ZvZ.

Tried to go for Gold, beat another Z (was close but 2 1 lings are deadly apparently), but no promotion. :(
