I can't really say what I would do but the guy was apparently paranoid of intruders in a city known for violent burglaries so I can understand why he would shoot in fear.
Not saying I think that's what happened but I think it's plausible.

Well it's impossible to say without knowing the details of the other incident but possibly because in the bathroom incident he was convinced someone was in there.

This is the next Amanda Knox trial. The prosecution will lose evidence, cite wrong information, and generally make a mess. I know the Roux family indirectly and that man has a reputation. If they slip up, even the tiniest detail, he will come down on them like a ton of bricks. This will carry on for ages.
I think the witness was full of poo too, I've lived in tl houses that size - I reckon the odds of her hearing a scream like that are negligible.
I do love how Sky mentioned her as "witness who speaks better English than the interpreter".
I also loved how Roux said that Pistorius screams like a girl. I think he'll regret saying that if he ends up in a south african prison. Many times.
There's no doubt in my mind that he's guilty. I just hope that the saffer legal system makes an example of him.

Theres no way she would have still been in the bathroom, even if she went for a number 2 id say 10 mins tops? It would have taken him much longer than that to get out of bed, goto his back door, then get his gun and get back to the bathroom door. Also if she had flushed then he may have known it was her as everyone knows burgulars dont flush after taking a dump.
Personally i think she made a joke about size, he got the wrong end of the stick thinking she was talking about his penis and shot her?
