He's going to prison for 5 years for culpable homicide, the other charge was 3 years in jail suspended for 5 years, both sentences run concurrently,

so he goes to jail for 5 years,

He has to serve a sixth of the sentence then he can be considered for parole. So I bet he walks in ten months time.
