I used TRIM enabler on my Mac Pro a good few years ago when I put an SSD in there. It dramatically killed performance so just be a little careful with it.

I've moved your post to the Yosemite thread as it's all about the OS X version of 1Password.

Yeah, when you run the new version 5 on your Mac, it pops up a warning about it. It's still syncing to iCloud on my iPhone with iOS8 but it's screwed on the Mac. I'm not very happy about that. I can understand why it's happened from reading the support articles but I'm a bit miffed that I'm expected to pay another £25 to get back the functionality I already had.

I've been supporting 1Password since version 2, I've never bought a bundled version and so I've dropped them an email with my thoughts. I feel as though I've been dumped on.

Just been having a look at Yosemite on my neighbours Macbook. What I have noticed is that not all the folders have changed to the new colour? Some like Google Drive are still in the old Apple blue.

Very strange and it does spoil the overall look.
 
Booo! :( I was looking forward to handoff, specifically calls and texts. Guess that isn't going to happen now if it won't work on my 2011 Air!

Google need to update then app then. Not exactly a reason to not upgrade, unless you're so OCD you dare not leave the house...

OneDrive is the same.

That's too long to read but I had a look through.

Personally I don't see even 1 reason to upgrade, just aesthetic changes mainly it seems (maybe I'm expecting too much).

Maybe it will solve the "Sleep wake crashes" I am getting on my new Late 2013 15" MBP running Mavericks. I've had more kernel crashes or "sleep wake crashes" in a matter of weeks with this new laptop then I did in over a year with my mid 2012 13" MBP on Mountain Lion :( Once work IT give the approval to upgrade I will try and use it for a week or two, of course having a time machine backup to fallback to.

If I had an iPhone then maybe I would be interested, but I don't.

Ah, excellent! I guess I'm getting confused between handoff and continuity? I assume continuity will work between an iPhone 6 and the original iPad mini (both on iOS 8 obviously - can't check it yet as I haven't updated the mini).

Handoff = Lets you pick up where you left off.
Continuity = SMS / CALLS / HOTSPOT (MBA 2011 appears to NOT support AUTO HOTSPOT )

Anyone had any issues installing yosemite? After I download and run installation it says 'This copy of the Install OS X Yosemite application can't be verified. It may have been corrupted or tampered with during downloading.'

Any idea how to combat this error?
 
Have done that a few times now, I have just repaired disk which I guess I should have tried first :p Deleted and attempting download again, cheers
 
Installed just now, come onto the desktop and I get a notification saying it's going to optimise the OS... Trying to update other apps like iTunes - they've downloaded but are just hanging on waiting to install? Also safari loads but crashes as soon as I try to load a page... Any ideas?
