Outstanding Logitech

So I've had a wireless Keyboard & mouse for a while now well over 3 years, The keyboard has died but the mouse still works, Are you saying they will replace the keyboard? :O

My old LX700 was 5 years old and they replaced the entire thing. with a Wave. Not quite as good as my LX700 but damn sight better then nothing at all and at no extra cost.

Well in regard to my jostick, I contacted OcUK who have advised my best bet is to back go to Logitech direct to try and get it sorted. I was hoping this is the case and can understand that being that the joystick is over 3 years old.

As per Logitechs previous response which I have posted, I have gone back to them stating that the supplier is unable to assist and supplied them with the information they requested.

The tone of the response indicates to me they will send a new one. They did request a copy of the receipt, but I stated I am unable to do so and just took a screen print of the purchase order from my OcUk order history (27/06/2007). My name is on it and the item so should be ok.

I expect a new one will be coming to me shortly and will update in due course. :)

Sent an email yesterday at about 4pm, had a reply this morning at 9am, and just had an email saying they have sent a replacement product. Now it's whether they have sent a new mouse....or the new feet/gliders :p

My money is on a new mouse. Keep us updated

I'm not sure. The email before he said we will send gliders, and I said thanks and i'll superglue the sides. Next email shortly after was;

Thanks for your email.

We have sent you a replacement product. It will be
shipped within the next few day and should arrive with you within 14
working day. Once the item has been shipped you will receive an email
from UPS with a tracking number and a estimated delivery date.

Soon find out.

My Steering wheel had a slight issue in that it was steering to the left by about 20 degrees permanantly, I emailed logitech who said to provide a picture which I did, the next day (Yesterday) a brand new steering wheel arrived, I don't have any otherl Logitech items at the moment but it makes them a very strong contender for anything in the future.

Well, upon hearing this I've emailed them asking if I can purchase a replacement base station for my mx1000, as its on its last legs. Really love the mouse though :(

Awaiting a reply :)

I recently emailed Logitech about my MX Laser mouse not charging after 2 years use and they kindly agreed to send me a replacement performance mouse MX.
The packages arrived today containing 11 new mice :eek:
According to OCUK they are worth £729.90.
Talk about customer service :D On the delivery docket it does state 11 were ordered and dispatched so I will email them and ask for the remaining 10 to be picked up.

From customer point of view seems like an amazing service, but from business point of view appears to be a very naive model!

Whaaaaaaaaaat! :eek::D

I just spoke to the Logitech rep and he was completely unsure what to do. He is going to contact his supervisor so if you see a batch of these appearing on MM then I have been told I can keep them, unlikely though.

Not really - their service has made me buy pretty much all my peripherals from them and as they actually dont often break (only claimed once for a mouse) I think they are doing fine...

No doubt it isnt the most profitable model, but when has anything like outstanding customer service ever been?

As stated in the original Logitech fanboy thread, I am a definite convert. I've used a lot of their equipment over the years and never had an issues. Their mice are excellent and the first ever real problem I had was with a year old MX Revolution.

I sent them an email stating how it had a problem with the wireless signal (became very weak and intermittent). Without any fuss they asked me some vital information and sent me a brand new boxed one in the post around a week later. I didn’t have to send my old one back (Which is now my work mouse) and kept the new one for home.

They are above excellent when it comes to customer service.
