yes - i got the system to 3GHz stable for 14hrs using linpack to stress
Would hope that was meant to be 4Ghz Linpack, but otherwise great news, that pretty much rules out CPU instability (although not RAM/chipset)
We have had a lot of customers asking why their bundles are not stable in the past few days, we have notes that the common problem is that people are trying to use the bundle with an insufficiant power supply.
I must stress... If you are considering a purchase, please ensure that your power supply is powerful enough to run the bundle and your graphics card of choice.
I reccomend a 650w corsair or better as the minimum
Are you sure that its just customers using weaker p/s units or something else ? perhaps the hotter weather has effected stability/temps ?
Also are you stress testing the bundles say overnight before despatching them ?

I do believe the bundle in question is running 12GB of ram, I will be corrected if I am wrong though.
no - it was 3GHz as the customer specified 12gb of RAM
you are correct Yewen, as usual
Wow, those extra 3 sticks must realy put a strain on that poor old memory controler then.no - it was 3GHz as the customer specified 12gb of RAM
