Overwatch

Haven't played this yet,. but tutorial I did this morning, But looks fun (need a fun shooter) Liked TF2 when that was about all them years ago!

All downloaded so will be playing tonight I think and see how it goes. Then see what the patch has done to Division! Need to get back into that to.

Just had a game where Bastion was in turret mode up against a corner wall with no way of getting above. And Reinhardt was next to him constantly protecting the front with a shield

Should have switched to Pharah but it was a pretty devastating combo. Didn't realise you could fire through Reinharts shield if he is your ally.

Yeah, I remember reading that. Silly argument really, if that's the case then why not just make everything in 4:3 or 5:4 for the retro people so 16:9 doesn't have an advantage. I hope 21:9 gets more support though, in games and hardware, as my LG 21:9 monitor is lovely but too small for a living room :\

Because I have a 21:9 screen and I expect modern games to use modern hardware. Would you be content if a new dvd or bluray had a 4:3 ratio for no good reason?

Their other competitive games support 21:9 so it really makes no sense.
 
I play CS GO almost exclusively at the moment but this has peaked my interest. It looks quite fun and seems very popular. Hard to find much information about it though. The videos I've watched are reasonably informative but mostly just random gameplay commentaries.

A few things:

Those who put lots of hours into the beta and now the full game, are you bored yet?
Are they introducing a ranked mode at any point?
The extra stuff in the £44.99 version, is that all cosmetic?
Is this basically TF2 v2016?
Do you think I'll just end up going back to CSGO after a month or so?

1. No not bored yet
2. Soon bit after launch
3. Yes but with much better mechaincs any hero can cause a team to win/lose
4. Maybe but ithink you will play it

6. Not on steam? Why should it be. Its blizzard Battle.net app is one of the best Publishers app period its been around longer than Origin/Uplay & many others

one thing i cannot understand with this game is Under 100fps on 4K or evern 1440p at 144hz my mouse feels odd not sure what but 100fops is fairly easy :D

No but i also would still watch it and enjoy it.
 
Enjoying it, but still the issue of casual pre mades, as a group of casual players (with a random or 2 to complete the team) we end up against much more organised pre mades. Making it a lot tougher than we'd like.

I wish there was a skill/level base involved. Maybe it will get better as others get higher levels etc. But at the moment, it's either hit and miss grouping up to play.
 
Just a had a few rounds and load of fun! Defo a keeper for me! 45min just few by!

I think the cartoon look and that it is from blizzard put me off this, but happy after looking at some videos and played it.

We should a list of battle.net names to add others. Or if they add a clan side of things then it be better.

Overwatch 21:9 support removed after beta. Huge post on the Blizzard forums if anyone is interested in getting this issue resolved.

Found it pretty boring tbh, but then I never got into TF2 either. I think CS:GO-type shooting has too much of a hold on me and I can't be bothered with this hybrid type mobas.
 
9/10 out of the games tonight, I had to be the healer. Seems people are more bothered about going gung-ho then helping the team. Push forward rambo style, get killed. Rinse and repeat all game. Even on defence in my last game the whole team was rushing them instead of staying near the capture point.
