Palworld: Pokémon with guns

Enshrouded looks good, havent heard of it before. looking at the 2 i can see theres a palce for both. there simialar but differant enough from what i can tell.
Palworld looks to be more freindly and colourfull i can see it appealing to more,.
Enshrouded looks darker and more adult themed.

Apparently the gamepass version is worse than the steam version (older builds I think?) according to reddit. I personally don't see the appeal, timesink crafting plus shooting pokemon. Would be nice if there was a demo so I could change my mind. That enshrouded looks more interesting to me, no demo though :(

GP version is on V0.1.0.0, I don't know what the Steam one is but I imagine it will be the same. I've read that you can't access dedicated servers and only have the option to invite friends (only option it gave me). Game looks great and I'm glad it even works decently on my system.

So, on Steam with dedicated servers, can you join a server, and how many does it hold? Can bases be destroyed like in other games of this nature? I'm not one for building / survival type games but I am one for Pokemon, and this seems fairy decent on the limited time I've played.

The steam version is at 0.1.2.0, up to 32 players on a server, gamepass is 4 players.

32 players with the dedicated server is just the initial release offering reading the blurb, they intend to expand it later.
im sure the mod community will mod it higher way in advance of the developer.

I was initially going to hold off on this, but after watching some gameplay, I decided to take the plunge.
Only 2 hours clocked up so far, but I'm enjoying it. It's great watching the little guys walk around your base doing jobs!

I've seen on the reddit that's the Pal version of Pepé Le Pew. Tirelessly looking for a night of debauchery...

So jumped off MH:W and spent around 2 hours on this. I haven't even left the main area I built yet and I love it. I can't get on with base building usually but the theme of this game really helps.

I really hope the developers churn out these updates on a regular basis, could turn into an amazing game.

Whelp I pretty much played this game for a solid 5 hours straight last night. Just get the Steam version if you can as the Xbox Game Pass version is missing options and it is quite a few versions behind and DLSS was greyed out. Just get it.

Still considering getting on Steam. 32 players seem small for such a huge map?

looking through steam i saw
Server config
based on config file i wonder if its just a case of changing the value. althrough stability may be an issue if not tested to that level

If anything i'd say the GP vesion is the "Demo" vrtdion unoffically at the moment. i can see this being a sort of standard approach in to the future as so many people have GP and its cheap
