They've been trying that in Iraq and Afghanistan for the last 14 years. Want to guess how it's turned out so far?
 
No doubt the EU president will cause for another urgent expensive meeting in Vienna, where all can dress up put on a show but ultimately come to no action nor decision.....

Well they will say something "Something had to be done".....

Hollande has already said the French response will be 'merciless.' I think it's fair to say we'll be seeing some action pretty soon.
 
What people forget is:
1. Civil war in Syria caused by destabilising nations - impacting nations population (including muslim).
2. ISIS attempting to force beliefs rather than being accepted by nation population.
3. ISIS funded by nations that warm to the idea of having shared ultra conservative religion.
4. Migration of natives caused by civil war and terrorism.
5. ISIS are attempting to use the cultural unease within france to destabilise to generate pain for law abiding normal muslims. Attempting to force people to pic up weapons to defend themselves and ensure that france attempt to pressure people to be more french.

If everyone piled in - ISIS would simply disperse, and go quiet. Big gun tactics only work when there's a mass to target. Intelligence, processing and pin point attacks are the only force option. Second move is to target those funding and supporting ISIS, this would be done without 'seen force'. I suspect there is a considerable global cooperation in targeting ISIS and it's supporters behind the scenes.

ISIS want france to be pressured into declaring war - so they can publicly PR for recruitment in 'the cause'. However if france don't publicly declare then the government will be accused of not doing anything about it. This is the only weak link in the strategy.

I doubt this will be a combined EU effort. Maybe France will take action with an additional 1/2EU nations, however not a combine effort. The EU will preach an united front must be adhered, however not make the hard call.

I'm glad you don't agree with people being insulting and nasty, but it's strange that if you don't agree with it that you have a problem with mods doing something about it.

No-one is censored here for having an opinion so long as it is shared respectfully.

Don't know why you're still waiting, this has already happened:

Muslims around the world, from religious leaders and politicians to ordinary people, meanwhile, are condemning the attacks.

In an official statement, Iranian president Hassan Rouhani called the attacks a “crime against humanity.”

In the name of the Iranian people, who have themselves been victims of terrorism, I strongly condemn these crimes against humanity and offer my condolences to the grieving French people and government.

Indonesian president Joko Widodo condemned the “violence that took place in Paris,” and called for more international cooperation to fight terrorism.

Leaders of Arab states called the attacks immoral and inhumane.

Qatar’s foreign minister Khaled al-Attiyah denounced the “heinous attacks,” adding, “these acts, which target stability and security in France are against all human and moral values.”

Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Sabah called the attacks “criminal acts of terrorism which run counter to all teachings of holy faith and humanitarian values.”

The Saudi foreign ministry called for global cooperation to “root out this dangerous and destructive plague.”

So like I was saying earlier, a disturbingly large percentage of British Muslims have sympathy with attacks like these. Here's some research showing that 27 per cent of British Muslims were willing to state that they 'sympathise with the Charlie Hebdo attacks.'

Interesting read for people who are interested.
I don't think that employers discriminating against Muslims is the way forward, but forcing them to adapt to the way of life of the country they come to I believe is. I think Islam needs to change, not the countries they come to.
