Far too hot for gaming at the moment as well and I will throw every excuse I can think of to not buy one. Might be interested in the Ti though.
Good luck to those who do get one also and I don't mind admitting, I will be very jealous.

I do love the Titan cards and they are sweet but dawned that price.

When the 1080 came out I said I would wait for the Titan, but at £1200 (looking at the 1:1 on the 1080) then I'm out.

Why not. It looks like its going to be a good 30% faster than the 1080 such already manages 40-50fps most games. 100fps 4k isn't for a few generations yet.
seems to me like they are expecting hbm2 to be ready shortly and want to get rid of all their pcbs quick as possible.
i dotn see what the picture achieves though its just same as the other 3 gpus we have seen but black and with the obvious titan zxy on the side. looks boring now.

A few extras shaders and castrated clock speeds aren't going to make it doable imo, you're still talking sli\crossfire to do 4 k properly for the time being.
