I could never get into POE

i don't know why. Has anything changed recently that changed the feel of the game?

I personally put off playing for years. It's great in so many ways but so frustrating with it's complexity.

between a sulphur flask and silver flask which has the best effect overall?

Sulphur
40% increased damage and a source of on demand consecrated ground vs an effect you can pick up on boots, abyss jewels, passive nodes etc

Just bought a really nice Bottled Faith with near max rolls for 7ex. I think I'm at the point where I'm happy with my build, just a few jewel optimising left and last few levels.

About where I become bored of a league now, level 96, done a load of stuff, not sure I can be bothered doing much more.

then DPS of the bow depends again. some people prefer higher APS as compared to actual hit dmg, while both may have the same DPS.

Nah. Never usually do more than get the 2nd reward at most, some of them just take too much time for me. Got other stuff to play!

Gonna play a bit more, still got a few bits to try but mostly done I think.

im working my way to 24 challenges and that will be hard for me to reach nevermind 40 lol

anyway, got this gem last night Raise Spectre lvl 21 23% quality and its worth some ex.
but i need some advice on what to price it at, the trade has them anyway from 3ex to 17ex.. i know the 17 is ridiculous but how do i know the 3 isnt people manipulating the trade for a profit
do i just price it in the middle and hope im not selling it too cheap? i dont have much so want to make the most out of it lol but no idea what to do

Downside to finishing with a league so early is I'm waiting ages for the next one. Haven't played in 18 days

Come make a char on hardcore, once your done with your usual grinds anyway. It’s challenging in a different way as you can’t just finger blast all the content as easily

Unless you are just bored of the league of course.

I don’t think 3ex is that much at all after playing for almost a month. A lot of the advice I get on items you’re not sure to price is to stick it up for a high price and lower it every day until it sells but with gems the economy is pretty fixed if there’s multiple on there. Remember that gem must be popular this season for the demand to buy it so even at 3ex you might not sell it if no one needs it.

There don't appear to be that many on the market at the moment, the price history looks to have been around 3 ex recently (slowly climbing) so it could be the other way around, people pricing higher to try and increase the value over time. I'd be tempted to list it between 4.5-5ex and see if it sells. If nobody bites after a day or two lower it down to 3.5-4.5 (seems to be the going rate atm).

Spectres took a nerf this season if I recall, they used to be summoned at a higher level (mid 80s now down to low 70s), so the level 21 gems are more valuable now as they squeeze that extra level or so out for the summon.

I've given HC a go a few times before but it just doesn't suit me. I like to play lazy or dumb sometimes.
I also hate dying enough when there's just an XP penalty I don't think I'd cope too well with losing my entire character and gear

finally beat sirus last night, think i got 3 deaths but getting the hang of it now lol

wanted to get 24 challenges done but im starting to get bored, might play now n then to get them finished but otherwise ill be done for a while
the main annoyance with this game is the trading system, you normally have to message 20 people before you get a response
i know some people hate "auction houses" but it would be perfect for this game, when you dont know the value of an item, let people bid on it

Yeah I'm on my 3rd day not playing now. This game needs some quality of life improvements in a number of areas, the problem with GGG's Chris Wilson is that he comes across very sure of himself and what the community needs despite things like an in game AH being asked all the time.

I'll play it some more but much less than I have in the last month.

Set my sights on 100 this league as a tickbox exercise so get it out of the way and never chase it again. Made it to 96 before the deaths became too frequent to make any further progress without running very boring maps non-stop.

So, sat in 5-way legion groups the rest of the way to 100. Cost me about 25ex total, and made about 20 back (got really lucky with a fated unique div set getting me 10ex, and I levelled then vaaled a couple of impale gems to 21 + other random drops).

Definitely no satisfaction in the group method so I will need to find a build that steamrolls all content deathless in a future league.
