Path of Exile(diablo clone)

I was a bit unsure to begin with but I soon started focusing on Frenzy and physical damage/crits. I've got all 3 Frenzy Charge nodes now, a few of the crit ones, the Acrobatics/Phase nodes and some other nodes like the Piercing stuff, along with some life stuff. Currently working on getting Arrow Dodging (which I really should've got earlier given that I'm on Act 2 Merciless and arrows/rocks are deadly).

Puncture is a crazy powerful skill (and lethal when its you getting hit by it ><) which I've got linked to Pierce so with the passive, Projectile Weakness and the support gem it pretty much goes through everything which really helps to thin out mobs as you backpeddle. Plus I can follow it up with Frenzy which rips through them with really high RoF. Did backfire the other day though when I fired off a few shots on a zombie pack in Fellshrine that happened to have the reflect damage aura where the Frenzy penetrated about 5 zombies and critted and instagibbed me :p

But I'm down to ~40 scrolls of wisdom now. Is there an easier way of getting more than horribly tedious farming whites and hauling them to waypoints a few at a time (to avoid using up portal scrolls)?

I have half a stash tab full of scrolls of wisdom. I was considering destroying a load last night. If you want some, give me your character/account name and I'll hook you up!

I used to play hardcore all the time, but I got fed up getting to lvl 60+ only to die from disconnection on an empty chaos screen with full hp lol. Although when I played the server allowed something like 25secs.. which was just silly, I think that has been reduced these days.

The lag has been really hit n miss the last few days. I had a portal in Vaals chambers on my Shadow and went to get some exp from Pools and Streams cos I was 30% from my next level and didn't want to risk losing it to Vaal if things went badly. Up to about 95% and there I am, trying to hit an enemy at the front of the pack, only for none of my hits to be landing, then suddenly 2 seconds later I'm stood in the middle of 8 2H Warriors and drop dead before I can Whirling Blades to safety.
Only problem is a lot of Act III has Chaos damage in it and I'm not really in a position to take CI still. Was funny when I killed Vaal without much difficulty (when I actually dodged his laser beam anyway), then went outside and the first enemies I found was a pack of champions +an elite Undying who proceeded to slaughter me :p

Utterly noob question here:

How do I trade with other players? I'm playing PoE as a single player game, because I'm an unsociable git :) I might want to do some trading though, but I don't know how the exchange takes place. Do you have to party up, enter an instance and drop stuff on the ground, or is there a more convenient way to do it?

you party up meet in the same place and then trade (right click on their portait), don't throw stuff on the ground, as someone could easily pick itup and run off ;)

edit: in other news i got my first 5-link last night, but damn it's a slow bow :(

After my mate kept complaining about my Skeletons being too hard to differentiate between the enemy Skeletons (despite my skeletons being the ones with a big glowy Hatred aura and the enemies being the ones with 1-3 Curse icons floating above there heads :p) I decided to buy the alternative skill effects for Skeletons and Firestorm.

The statues look pretty sweet actually and the Firestorm looks n sounds much better than the original. Great fun to throw up my Summon Statues totem and have it spam out 9/10 Statues (my max is 9 but it frequently seems to show 10 alive?) who then stand and pose when everything is dead :p

Its not cost effective to farm white items and then use a portal scroll. The portal scroll will cost more than all the white items. If your going to farm white items do it near a waypoint and only use the waypoint. Or just farm magic items and then convert some of the full orbs you get from that into scrolls of wisdom.
