Path of Exile(diablo clone)

And there's my first Nemisis character lost, lvl 52 Ranger :(
Those damn Voidbears in docks tore me a new ***hole.

They are a pain unless you have decent resist. Don't know if they are still in, but the Multi Projectile versions could drop your health super fast, and If you get one with a speed aura it gets worse :p

I was running 1h shield melee evasion ranger, and saw yellow dog with promixity shield and blue dog, b4 i could see the other nemesis mods i melted and insta died, didnt have time for pots, was 48 cruel.

Very good game, insane challenge with the new leagues.

What do 'roll' and 're-roll' mean?

Almost certainly.

Looking for some generous exile to donate me a Chromatic on Domination :D Want to get my unique bow to a green ><

In old D&D you would roll dice to determine your character stats (str, wis, con, etc). This occurred at character creation, thus every time you created a new character you'd roll the dice again. Hence re-rolling = creating a new character.

Not got a dom. Character at the mo, sorry. If you are high enough level (act 2 normal) vendors will sometimes have r-g-b linked items for sale. Buy for cheap, immediately sell it back for 1x chromatic.

Marauder is going well on Domination.

Bought myself a Geofri's Baptism for 1 chaos so naturally I've been demolishing things since I hit level 27 (currently 42). Had a fair few uniques so far but my armour is really starting to suffer. Barely upgraded anything for a good 15-20 levels.

Had my first death in Sceptre of God due to being a bit careless (and getting caught out by the damage of a Increased Phys Damage aura rare). Dominus was crazy hard. No idea what I was supposed to be doing to stay alive except chugging pots, running around like a lunatic killing the spawns and Heavy Striking him when I got the chance. Was a seriously tense fight and by far the most awesome in the whole game.

Ran into the last boss in act 3 tonight and got left myself all over his floor :(
My gear is ultra crap and ive been ignoring anything thats not orange or yellow text, is it worth trying to find any decent blue items by picking those up aswell?

Any info on where to try farming gear for my level 39 toon would be great, as it stands im just going to try to kill stuff in the spire

I just picked this up on sunday and am level 24. Don't really know what I'm doing but having a blast lol.

Plan is to steam roll this messed up shadow as far as i can take it then use it's gems / gear on a researched character build :)

Just can't get into path of exile no matter how hard I try. I played d2 for 10years, and even found d3 more engaging. Does it get better later?

That boss was harsh. If it wasn't for the sheer power a Geofri's Baptism brings I would probably have died too (it was close enough as it was). The jist of gearing seems to be, stick to rares/legendaries, unless you're dying from lack of AR/EV/ES in which case you might want to consider going for anything with good defence stats. And I've seen a lot of people saying that if it has 5/6 links, they would use it regardless of the other stats.

Problem there is your gems have been leveled so you can't realistically re-use them on a low level char. Unless they're early game rewards or you get lucky spare drops anyway. Went back on my Scion last night that I've been cooping with. Honestly don't know what I was trying to do with her. Was doing something as a ranger type but just don't really know what. May just delete her and try crit Ice Spear.

I find it more enjoyable in act 2 to be honest, as the charcters feel a bit more "yours" rather than being dictated by what drops you're un into in the last five minutes.

The game is boring as hell up to about level 30, at which point you start getting equipment that can link multiple support gems and it gets ridiculous. Leap Smash with Multi Strike and Cast When Damage Taken is hilarious - every time you get hit you bounce around the screen like a mongoose on crack.
