Path of Exile(diablo clone)

not sure wether to make a new charater or just reset a current lv80 somrthing, equip 400%+ item rarity and run act3/4 cruel and gobble up new loot.

hmm it's tempting but think i'll start the new standard league, learn the new passive tree rather than create a mess with one of my levelled ones.
 
Definitely going challenge league. I find the economy in standard is just too messed these days and it just gets gradually worse and worse every patch.
 
Cant wait for this. Dont get excited by games at all anymore but this had made me feel 13 again ha! My little lad will go to bed then i can get a few hours on it! The new armour set looks nice!
 
cool, i have one with a cloak of defiance in standard, remember now if anything it was too strong with crit, struggled with instaselfkill reflect heh,

will go with this i think, more base dmg less crit and more dex, which i really struggled with items before.

Arc,Life,Dex/Mom witch build, will prolly change again this builder is fun while waiting :) the Jewel socket around MoM passive looks interesting.
 
Just getting back into this since the new patch and loving it so far.
Haven't played for a good 4 months or so I reckon so started in the new softcore league just to get a rough idea of how things work now before jumping into the hardcore league.
Finished Act 4 last night... glad I wasn't in hardcore as Malacheai (or however it's spelt) just ran me over repeatedly! had around 1.3k life and my resistances were around 55% but he just hits like a truck, and fast too!
Maybe i'm just bad........ is there any trick to it, like a certain flask that would help (granite/ruby?) or do I just need to get better at running around as I couldn't imagine facing him on hardcore.
Running a pretty standard Arc witch build at the moment while i get the feel of things.

the fight is pretty much just knowing the mechanics. obviously capped resists are given :p
pick your spots when to dps and just read his movements.
i did just zerg him on my char though as i was lacking the dps :p
 
For the love of all that is holy, does anyone know a way to either a.) make the chat box a lot smaller or b.) turn the damn thing off altogether until it's needed?

Also, a way to make the entire UI smaller would be appreciated.

There's an option to turn off global and trade chat on the chat menu.
 
currently trying, lifting nerd, witch flame totem 2.0 build but going spell totem+incinerate+faster casing rather than flame totem and taking fire/flame/elemental passives over totam dmg passives, it is insanly powerful and fun :)
