Path of Exile(diablo clone)

None just used 3 of em to add some life, it will teach me to read up an watch videos in the future.

Ive been playing it since 2013 but just as a pick up an play type of game didn't even know it actually got so deep.

It's my first dungeon trawler that ive actually enjoyed i found D3 very boring compared to this.

having a blast in the new warbands league with a spell totem+incinerate build witch, lv61 cruel farming dried lake, 2k armor, 2.5k dps 2.5k health. not leaving dried lake till all are 3k+, cruel malachai is no joke.

Cybercrow it's completely up to you, but i'd probably scrap the character and start fresh.

Can't bring my self to scrap her tbh m8 lol, level 78 took me ages get her there as well lol.

My health is slowly getting there ive been resetting some paths to add more :) at the moment im grinding for decent gear that will aid me health wise.

Looking for a good chest/head that carry's health,il carry on with this one an hope they do another reset in the future

Gear wise is It best to use poe.trade? Thinking a couple of items aren't up to scratch or is it best to wait till a certain level before spending a good amount of currency?

Just finished act 2 last night. Not rushing anything too much. Just enjoying the progress.

Yeah poe.trade indexes all the shop threads for you on the forums.
Use the site to search for upgrades.

Select online and buyout, so you know who is online and has a buyout set.
Click whisper, ctrl c, and paste into poe chat ingame, hit enter to start the trade.

If they accept, go to their hideout to trade..

pretty much was havenrl said.

in regards to levels, most of the poe suffixes and prefixes are depending on ilvl rather than the lvl it's required at. (this is the site I use http://poeaffix.net/ ) The level requirement of an item can change depending on the rolls of the item but I wouldn't worry too much right now. just cap your resists and get some life on gear and you'll be golden :)

I've recently started playing this and wondered if anyone had tips for getting gear upgrades without burning loads of currency on item rerolling? Most of the levelling guides I have seen assume you have a bunch of currency available but as its my first character this isn't really an option. I chose the war bands league, is anyone else playing in this around the level 40 mark that might like to party up? Is there an ocuk guild? Cheers!

Id also be interested in making a new character an joining a guild, good idea that Brok.

Any one got any room in there guild or up for making a Ocuk one :D

Item upgrades.
Most people use poe.trade website to find gear.
When you start fresh / new, dont spend any of orbs on rerolling equipment except for jewelers and fusing, but even on those i'd use very few myself till i get to maps.
I also every now and then alc a piece or 2 if i find say a whit 4-linked item and i need an upgrade in that specific slot to cover my resists.
Also do all the master missions you can find and get elreon and haku leveled up. These 2 masters allow you to craft on armour pieces and jewelery.
Once you hit a lvl 60 zone (to make it easy i know ilvl 60 stuff can drop in 58 & 59 areas)
Pick up all rares and keep them. If you sell a full equipment set you get 1 chaos orb (the main trading currency to start with) keep doing this all the time. I have 2 stashtabs ready to go for when i find rings and necklaces.

Re guild i currently have a guild with some friends (only 3-4 or so) i'll ask to see if they mind in letting you in ;)

Ok thanks that's useful. I'm about to finish act 4 normal and at least one of my items is level 2 so I think I need to give my
Gear some attention! I did buy a unique bow from someone on Poe.trade for 1 fusing which is helping me immensely.

A guild would be great so I can ask lots of noob questions :)

Really enjoying the depth of the Meta of this one, it's a lot more complex than D3

Started a Warband character yesterday, is the drop quality different in WB to standard?

Seems virtually every thing that was dropping was magic an white items :(

Drop quality is exactly the same across all leagues as far as I'm aware, must just be having a bad run of luck. I do notice that you don't get many rares at low level though when starting out, or again maybe that's just down to luck.

Just started a cyclone marauder in Tempest to see how that league is, currently level 45 and not had too many issues so seems a pretty safe spec so far.

drop quality should be the same on all leagues.
you just notice the drops more in a new league since you most likely don't have levelling gear ready for the new character ;)

Drops are always low qual when you start out, not sure when they change, but if u find some mf gear it seems to help a lot at low levels.

Next week theyre suppsoed to be doing something with a patch to help fix the 74+ map problems.
