Path of Exile(diablo clone)

Agreed lockstep is best, barely notice any lag most of the time, do get some huge spikes occasionally, you need to set lockstep from login screen or you will need to restart the game iirc.
 
How do I know what build I am? Playing a barb, level 24 I think. Just using the molten smash a lot. Are there better skills as I branch out the massive skill tree?

There are mini/max skills of course. Some skills scale better into late game. If your playing soft core just find your feet by trying different builds from the POE forums and seeing what you enjoy.

Find builds that don't rely on unique gear too much. Makes gearing easier.

just search the forums ofr budget builds if you don't want totems....

i havent decided yet what i want to play
maybe ele blade vortex or ele blade flurry...
 
Torn between whether to farm endgame labyrinth early or just focus on chaining as many maps as possible. Have a build in mind for each option, just need to make a decision before the patch drops, ideally.
