It's always 2PM GMT. Unless you have a tardis?what time tomorrow are they going live with the pre-order?
Well the 5080 is DOA is they'd have to be slightly daft to be buying that!Ill give a maximum of 3 mins before it sells out and hundreds of people complaining the site crashed
Only 8% over the 4080 super? Wow thats pathetically badWell the 5080 is DOA is they'd have to be slightly daft to be buying that!
NVIDIA RTX 5080 is on average 8.3% faster than RTX 4080 SUPER according to first review - VideoCardz.com
RTX 5080 disappoints in first review The new card will be launched tomorrow. With hours still left before we publish our roundup with more sources, the first review featuring NVIDIA’s own Founders Edition RTX 5080 card was accidentally released. It looks like Igor’sLAB has published a review of...videocardz.com
The whole 50 series is been sold on fake frames.Only 8% over the 4080 super? Wow thats pathetically bad
Indeed, but even with that nonsense marketing i was expecting at least 20% uplift in raster, but 8% is a jokeThe whole 50 series is been sold on fake frames.
If you consider the small power and cuda core bumps there seems to be little to no IPC uplift.Indeed, but even with that nonsense marketing i was expecting at least 20% uplift in raster, but 8% is a joke
Sad thing is, this isn’t going to really change either, its all headed towards AI and generated framesIf you consider the small power and cuda core bumps there seems to be little to no IPC uplift.
Looking at the specs, single digit uplift was always going to be the case. 4090 is solidly in the middle of the 5080 and 5090 in the stack. Considering AIB prices I imagine most people will be better off getting a used 4090. £1250 on MM the other day was an absolute bargain, and it sat there listed for £1300 for weeks, also a bargain!Indeed, but even with that nonsense marketing i was expecting at least 20% uplift in raster, but 8% is a joke
I wont be able to justify spending that much on a GPU!Looking at the specs, single digit uplift was always going to be the case. 4090 is solidly in the middle of the 5080 and 5090 in the stack. I am going to wait this one out till there is more stock, I am too old for pressing F5 on an item that's not limited edition or limited production rum, I am not going to die waiting few months. In a few months there will be more stock, highly doubt there will the demand for 5090 as there was with 4090. Most 4090 owners will unlikely to upgrade as its not worth paying over £1000+ after selling their 4090, for extra 30% and some fake frames, there is not enough performance uplift. I highly doubt there will be demand for 5080 either as its performance is not great by early leaks. It's always 2PM GMT. Unless you have a tardis?
What a joke Blackwell has turned out to be a laughing stock..Well the 5080 is DOA is they'd have to be slightly daft to be buying that!
