I know they will have them, but I mean will they have all the different ones that are listed on the website from all the different manufacturers, I read the initial post, but it doesn’t answer if they will have all the SKU’s on their shop at launch or just eventually.
 
As far as I can tell (and hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong), but actual pricing won't be shown until they're available to buy and the specific SKUs on the site might not (in fact, probably won't) all be available at launch.

The pricing you can sort of guess as most brands have the usual tiers of SKU, like Ventus, Gaming X/Z and Suprim for MSI going from pauper to landed gentry.

Sooo... who's booked a day off work for Thursday so they can abuse their F5 key with no distractions. I have and I'm now slightly resentful that I've probably wasted a day's annual leave given the expected stock situation... but I just know that if I didn't, I'd spend the next couple of months until stock opens up pondering what might have been.

Nah, just working from home and will abuse the F5 key over a late lunch break.

We've been asked to go into the office but I've noped out of that

Booked two weeks off work, from Thursday - expecting to get a 5090 :cry: so if no luck Thursday which seems 95% likely. I'll be back on the work grind Monday.

Going from experience of the 30 and 40 series, not all SKU's will have stock at launch.

Why do i envisage you receiving the 5090 and then not actually installing it.. but just taking it around with you, putting it on a seat at a restaurant like its your date, going out to your local viewpoint to watch the sunrise together... :cry:

What are you planning to do in the two weeks if you get lucky?

Honestly lots of Multi frame gen testing across the suite of supported games, as well as seeing how many games can hit native 480Hz in my library.

If Custom resolutions/DSR tool works then upscaling some games to 5K and 10K and see how they look and perform.

Otherwise I plan on finishing

Alan Wake 2

In this window of opportunity, should it present itself.

ANYWAY... any updates on stock / prices @Gibbo ?? Will be helpful for people to narrow down their choices etc.

Aight, what's more deserving of tantrums. Nvidia launching right now with "single digit" volume of 5090 at a retailer or AMD pushing back its launch til March while every retailer and their mum is known to have stock since January.

Of course the 5090 extreme scarcity might be a marketing tactic to push 5080s. Heeey, here's the best card you can't buy but wait, we have thousands of 5080 because reasons. Wait months for the flagship or get this almost as good card with all the same tech...

Reviewer samples aren't relevant, the total made is simply weak but I'm sure there was a priority to get chart topping reviews out to claim mindshare for the 5000 series.

For me, it's the AMD one. They had a product they thought was acceptable to be sent out, and then pooped their pants at Nvidia's announcement.
It's sad that they still don't know what they are doing in this sector, after all these years.
I'm not rich enough to buy a 5090 and still be alive when the wife found out. :D
