I do hope they wrap the Polly isn't fully with it storyline up in the next episode, it feels so out of place especially when they had the meeting and she goes off on one.
The end meeting surprised me with how tense they made a chat be.
I thought i recognised the face couldn't think where from though until i google fu'd it.
I was at formby beach when they were filming part of an episode a while back, I was trying to explain to my then gf what its about was she thought it was complete rubbish it is the one tv series i look forward to watching now along with vikings.
I can't think of any other actor who could pull off that character.
I thought I'd enjoy Brody but there's just something off about the accent at times, although I'll admit I'm unsure of what Italians from New York sounded like back in the 20's.
Finally caught up up and binged this season over the weekend, holy moly is it good, and to have Adrien Brody and Littlefinger in there as well is just epic. I was very sad up to the third episode as I thought Alfie wouldn't be making an appearance, but then he did and my wee heart leapt with joy as I have much man love for him in this show, he is just an amazing and memorable character. Looking forward to the finale, and I wonder how many seasons of this they will make... I hope they don't do a GOT and run it into the ground... one more strong season with a couple of extra episodes would be perfect I think.
They seemed to have abandoned Nick Cave on the finale in preference to a female singer ?
and rather precocious the directing style compared to earlier episodes softened shots /slo-mo
