Peeometer test for men, are we fully hydrated?

I'm currently hydrating myself before going for a run :) Will use the pee-o-meter to check all systems are operating at peak efficiency.
Just completed my diagnostic and I'm go for launch, be back in a half hour :D

Hopefully most people have the common knowledge that a dark yellow means you're dehydrated, clear means you're hydrated and the rest in the middle is obvious.

My doctor told me recently that neither this, nor drinking very little, having a painfully dry mouth/throat and headache together wasn't dehydration, but of course wouldn't tell me what it was .

I'd see another GP mate ;) Unless of course he referred you for further tests ie. blood. In which case I guess he may not have wanted to misdiagnose without the full facts. If he didn't do that, go see someone else.

To be fair urine colour is a fairly crude indicator of hydration status (as explained), and the other symptoms could be due to other things - technically dehydration is an increased plasma osmolarity. However a combination of symptoms would strongly suggest dehydration.

Still your doc is clearly trying to be clever - I wouldn't trust that :p
