What I take from this, is that these things aren't new, we just filtered out from detection in the past, but for some reason they're now included in the detection dataset

Probably just picking up spy balloons they couldn’t detect before.

You would think, if they were just balloons, they would say so given it would be easily accepted given the shoot down of the Chinese balloon, the fact they're calling them just "objects" suggests there more to them than being a balloon

Assuming for a moment that it's not the galaxy's local sphincter inspectors, surely it can't be China as repeated intrusions into someones airspace is intentional and an act of war?
