Pentagon releases UFO footage

Much as I’d love it to come out that humans are in possession of non man made craft, it would never be released by some whistleblower. If it were true and there was even the slightest chance it was going to leak, these whistleblowers would either be ‘removed’ in a massive cover up or more likely the US president would already have announced he’s going to address the nation.
Again I’d really love to be wrong but I imagine in due course this guys story will get picked apart.

Yeah,

There’s no way, that the only way we’re finding out about this, is that somebody has the stones to come forward and spill like the Exxon Valdez, just because some nice whistleblower law will keep them safe!

And it’s like I said earlier, people make a song and a dance because apparently this guy made the statement under oath.

But who cares? What does it matter if somebody cooks up some **** and bull story that can’t be proven or disproven, I don’t really understand why theres such a hullabaloo over the fact he said it under oath..

I think the problem really is that this David guy has just gone too far.

When the Navy pilots who were making vague statements about this sort of stuff, you could take it or leave it. Ultimately the things they described were open to interpretation, regardless of your position on aliens or UFOs or whatever.

But this guy, has come out and gone full on hardcore with these claims about actual “non-human” “exotic” ergo: alien technology being recovered, it’s too much to believe, way too much.

Because you don’t typically get to just make up a story, walk into congress and get to tell a BS story for 7 to 11 hours based on nothing and if you did somehow get past all the checks and pull that off you end up in jail for a long time.

The hullabaloo is because its multiple very high-level officers who have reputations beyond reproach with very high-level security clearance backed up by the Inspector General. These officers actually worked in the UAP departments of the government have gone down official channels to report what they have seen while they worked in the UAP department and had access to what the UAP projects are. Also why would the Inspector General attach himself to these people if they are making up BS. How would they convince the Inspector General to do that?

There is a massive difference between that and some random person on the street making up a BS story. Plus, according to reports they didn’t just make up a story but provided lots of evidence to Congress which people are taking as true because its not the type of thing to lie about and some Senators vouched that they are genuine. Don’t you see the difference between what is being reported and some random person the street telling a BS story?

Then we have all the supplemental evidence. Look at all the other military officers who have testified and reported the same. With so many military officers testifying the same as some point you have to ask the question that perhaps this is not BS and we need to look into it in more detail to see if there is any truth.

“But this guy, has come out and gone full on hardcore with these claims about actual “non-human” “exotic” ergo: alien technology being recovered, it’s too much to believe, way too much.”
First of all exotic/none human doesn’t have to mean alien. There are a handful of other meanings although most of them are as unlikely as alien.

Anyway it’s not just him now, is it? Its not like he is alone in saying this out of the high-ranking officers. Multiple high-ranking officers are all saying the same. Its not just one person anymore. For example Jonathan Gray NASIC officer of the United States intelligence community with a top-Secret Clearance is saying the same plus all the others and as I said above backed up by the Inspector General. Don't you question why so many high-ranking officer are all reporting the same thing? Many of which did work in the UAP departments.

If this is all true all the other reports over the years and all the signs this has been real are there. You just wrote them off as not being real without really looking at them. If and its still a very big “If” this is real then if you go back and look at everything UAP/UFO related with fresh eyes the overall picture painted is very different then looking at everything with the assumption its all fake. If its real the signs its been real have been there for years.

If it’s real suddenly all the Orb flying around make sense. Suddenly all the reports of the nukes being disabled at military bases make sense, suddenly the 200,000+ civilian reports make sense. All the DOD reports fall into place. The UAPs that was recorded flying past the plane window and you made up a fake debunk on crypto suddenly make sense. All the separate counties many of which don't even speak English all reporting the same thing fall into place. Its not like UFOs are isolated to a few small groups of believers. They are reported world wide throughout all counties many of which don't even interact with each other. Even China with its great firewall still has the same UFO reports among its none English speaking population.

“If” its real then you need to go back and look at everything you automatically wrote off and look at the reports with fresh eyes because all the people you wrote of at nutjobs and BS artists could suddenly have been telling the truth. That's not to say none of them are nutjobs or BS artists even if this is real.

Saying all this I believe the truth will be half way between the two extremes. But no matter what the truth ends up being you cannot pretend like there have been no signs that its all real.

Would they ever need to make contact though?

Well, people like Bob Lazar keep claiming they do. And it's not about 'need' so much as 'want.' What intelligent species wouldn't want to comunicate with the only other intelligent life form they've found in the universe? Humans want to, why wouldn't aliens?

Do we ever try to make contact with slugs and ants?

You're not comparing like with like. We communicate with animals of higher intelligence, and we've spent decades trying to communicate with the higher primates. There have even been attempts to communicate with dolphins.

Any alien species capable of interstellar travel would immediately see that humans are a highly intelligent and well developed species. They would want to communicate with us, just as we want to communicate with them. At the very least, they would be interested in the resources our planet has to offer.

Logically I can only see contact being made (if they exist) when humans are at the same scientific and technological level as them

Why? I don't see how that's logical at all. It goes against everything we know from our own experience as intelligent animals.

We just think aliens landing here would probably take over us because that's what we did to natives of foreign lands in the past and what some nations are still doing to this day. That's not intelligence.

We are sensible to think that this is a possibility, not merely because we did it to other peoples, but because it is what superior species always do to inferior species. Nobody said that's a mark of intelligence, but it is a consequence of intelligence.

You're still left with no explanation as to why aliens haven't contacted us, if they really have been visiting for so many decades or hundreds of years. It makes no sense at all, on any level. Why even visit in the first place, if they have no intention of making contact? What's the point?

It might be a fundamental mistake to apply human emotions, feelings and desires to Aliens that developed completely separately to us in possibly a different environment and different upbringing. Just because we have a desire to communicate it doesn't mean other life forms will do. For all we know they might be completely indifferent to us and see us as something to be watched from a distance. Or I could be completely wrong and they do have a desire to communicate the point is we just don't know and cannot apply what we know about Humans to any possible Alien life forms.

As for resources if we are talking about raw resources I would expect that's the last thing they would be interested in. Any race that has the ability to travel between systems will have effectively access to unlimited resources and wouldn't need to worry about what ever resources we might have. Assuming you are talking about raw resources that is. The whole Alien invasion to steal water, rare minerals or whatever often used in storeys doesn't really make sense when you can just visit any nearby random abandoned planet or moon or asteroid field that has an abundance of what you need. With space travel even rare resources like Diamonds become abundant.

It might be, but it's a perfectly reasonable conclusion. Any highly developed species of great intelligence will have a natural curiosity about the rest of the universe and its inhabitants. Even animals on our own planet are known to explore new areas out of curiosity and need. It would be foolish to assume that aliens are so different to us that they would never behave as we do.

For all we know they might be completely indifferent to us and see us as something to be watched from a distance.

If they were only watching from a distance, they wouldn't be landing here, as people like Bob Lazar claim. So the alien people need to get their story straight. Are the aliens landing, or are they keeping their distance? Why, or why not? What is their motivation?

As for resources if we are talking about raw resources I would expect that's the last thing they would be interested in. Any race that has the ability to travel between systems will have effectively access to unlimited resources and wouldn't need to worry about what ever resources we might have. They might live in a solar system where they've already exhausted all the resources of other planets and moons. Or they might have a shortage of a particular resource that's difficult to find, like water. Or they may be facing environmental catastrophe on their own planet, as we are. Or they might simply be looking to trade with us.

Whatever the case, any suggestion that highly intelligent inter-stellar capable aliens are visiting this planet regularly but refusing to make contact, is utterly absurd and fails logically at every step.

Saving some of these posts for years down the line when contact is made. Whether that contact is artificial or biological who knows, but it will be contact in our lifetimes nonetheless.

I reckon they treat earth as a zoo. The rich aliens come here to observe us for a couple of months then go back to planet Zog.

As for the post above "Whatever the case, any suggestion that highly intelligent inter-stellar capable aliens are visiting this planet regularly but refusing to make contact, is utterly absurd and fails logically at every step", Haven't you heard of the Prime Directive? They will probably make contact with us when we achieve either high volume nuclear fusion, warp drive or an understanding and use of dark energy and dark matter.

That said, they haven't caused us any harm yet so they must be friendly.

That's actually true - in several countries around the world it has been reported that UAP's spotted near nuclear bases have disabled weapons systems.

There are many such reports as below

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/ex-air-force-personnel-ufos-deactivated-nukes/

Most likely why Putin is holding back with tactical nukes in Ukraine. He knows our alien friends will disable them for humanity's sake.

No I think Putin is holding back because if he doesn't then it's essentially the end of Russia and himself lol, along with the rest of the world's land mass from fallout.

Certainly the equation is does it put his arse on the line, he hasn't gone totally mad yet. The US has made sure to reinforce that there would be consequences with a few less than subtle reminders such as flying B-52s in proximity to St. Petersburg.

but but 1000 years for us could be 1 day for them.
That's what makes me laugh about Star Trek/Star Wars, all the humanoids seem to live by a 24 hour a day clock :)

It’s a load of balls.

There was one instance where a system malfunctioned at Malmstrom AFB back in the 60s, but absolutely no evidence of anything to do with flying saucers.

Somebody came out years later and tried to add flying saucers to the story, and people with large imaginations got carried away.

Do I really have to spell this out for you. What I said was a big “if” this new story is true. Then those old stories need looking at with a fresh set of eyes as they might not all be BS. That is perfectly logical and sane reasoning.

Lets just pretend Aliens land tomorrow and introduce themselves. Not going to happen but lets pretend.
Suddenly all the reports over the years cannot be wrote off as BS and crazy people as many of them could have been true. So you have to go back and honestly relook at all the evidence instead of just dismissing everything out of hand like you do.

and all the Spaceships fly the same way up despite there being no up in space. Always meeting themselves at the same angle. Why is the Romulan Warbird never upside down when it greats the Enterprise.
