Pentagon releases UFO footage

Why should I not believe the testimony of Fravor?

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, Fravor provides zero evidence of anything.

All the hearings in the world, signed statements, TV interviews and congressional hearings sworn under oath, all add up to absolutely jack **** without any substantive actual evidence.

Anybody off the street, could say the things Fravor says by just making it up, nothing he says is in any way special, it's just another flying-saucer story, not even a very good one.

People lie. People see things that aren't there. People misremember things. People are prone to interpreting things the way they want to.

Testimony without evidence is just the word of a fallible human.

Then you have to decide/choose whether there is an ulterior motive, a deliberate deception, a simple mistake..

The one constant after all these years is that no conclusive evidence is ever presented. Now it's "Oh, that's classified." It's just super unfathomable how there are aliens literally in every cupboard and not a shred of conclusive proof.

Has anyone from the government even said these guys aren't telling the truth? It's not like there's some massive government denial, mostly they've come out and said 'yeah, there's stuff in the air we don't know about'. No one has ridiculed them or accused them of making things up so I'm confused why people on here are doing that lol

Michael Flynn was a 3 star general and national security advisor with the highest security clearance and he believes in Qanon. People believe crazy stuff, people in positions of power believe crazy stuff.
It's not really the same, believing in a conspiracy theory, to actually being part of the conspiracy like Grusch claims to be
They are the government.
Legit Lizards :D

What are the motivations of the government and/or the military?

MI5 or whatever don't confirm or deny rumours. It's not in their interest to.

Probably the same applies to the military. Maybe it's in their best interests for people to believe or be uncertain.

I'm not saying the government always lie about everything (except the Tories), but you have to be open to the idea that there are situations were spreading disinformation to your own people is beneficial. See Putin for a prime example. Or if not actively spreading it, allowing it to spread by itself.

Again, with all these aliens flying aboot, why do we only ever get a picture of a pancake in a snowstorm, that looks a bit like a kite, or maybe a pigeon?

He's not just "people" though. He was a highly trained pilot, and commander.

He has other witnesses and radar to corroborate his story. He said this evidence existed, under oath. The problem is this evidence is not being shown to the public.

If none of this matters to you then I don't know what to say.

It doesn't matter because we don't know his motivation. I'm sorry to say it's that simple.

Pilots are people too. All people can be motivated to stray from the truth. Some can even be ordered to.

That's word the word "trust" exists in the dictionary. Generally you don't trust everyone unless you're fairly confident of their intentions.

No evidence = I don't care what you say. Or necessarily who you are. Anybody can be motivated to lie, make up a story, or whatever.

No evidence means there's nothing to see, here.

It's like people are a having conversation armed with none of the facts. They had the craft on radar, they have a photo of the craft, they have multiple testimonies, it isn't just one guy making something up. The ignorance is actually astounding and hilarious.

The hearing or how this thread has turned out?

The hearing, i haven't been following the thread.

If this is a hoax then surely the rope must be pretty short by now. If there is proper evidence, then show it and tell the world. I find it hard to believe that intelligent life has visited this planet tbh. I'm of the thought that advanced civilisations are a lot rarer than we imagine.

And how much of that have you seen? Precisely none of it.

What are the motivations of the pilot or his employer? You don't know.

You cannot just assume people are telling the truth, because it suits you to do so.

The guy is really off the mark. You only just have to watch the previous interview with him, he just doesn't seem legit.

These body language experts also think so.
Its a Psyop, distraction technique, a bigger plan. It has been gradual for a few years now, slowly drip feeding it into the news. Project Bluebeam maybe?

Like Earth would be important to come to with a 100 year radio footprint, they travel across the universe only to crash on Earth and only where the government get to them first :) laughable.
I think people who get into this stuff don't have an interest in Space and are unaware of the numbers out there star wise and the distances between anything.

They are telling the truth because we have videos showing the craft?

No it's hilarious how some people are so gullible.
If these same people were talking about seeing Jesus, God or the Virgin Mary you would laugh about it and demand evidence, you wouldn't just blindly jump in but because they're talking about this subject you want to believe so much that common sense goes out of the window.

Nah, you have a video of something, that you've decided is an alien craft. The actual "proof" is all classified. What a shame!

Listen, I'm open to the idea of aliens.
I'm open to the idea of God.
I'm open to the idea of living in a simulation.
The common factor is that those things are impossible to disprove. Hence, an open mind.

What I'm not open to is the idea that aliens have been crashing on Earth for decades, and the US has taken possession of advanced alien tech.
That is a much more specific claim that does, I'm afraid, require _conclusive_ evidence before anybody should believe any of it.

Grainy, blurry footage of something that could be anything and somebody testifying that that thing is actually a flying saucer. Nah, sorry.

Otherwise you might as believe believe that Nessie and Bigfoot are proven beyond doubt. Plenty of witness testimony for those, too. And lots of blurry footage that could be a bear :p

I haven't decided it's an alien craft, at no point, what I've decided is it's evidence that there was an object in the air as they've described.

I don't want to believe anything. I used to, in late 90s, but then lost all interest. I've heard a lot of other claims in the past few years and they're all meh.

But the Fravor case, yep I'm all in on that and having listened to him I believe everything he claims happened that day.

It is the most important encounter in the whole field.

Apart from this hearing, I know very little about the subject now.
