Pentagon releases UFO footage

True. I explained this earlier when Sexy Grey Fox was asking about hovering UFOs. The argument still stands. To photograph a hovering UFO there still needs to be a good amount of light or in its absence, a longer shutter speed with no camera shake. Try doing that on a mobile phone. I'm not even aware of anybody who takes a tripod out with a mobile phone in anticipation of bumping into a ufo lol

No problem taking pictures of tall buildings or mountains in the distance, aim at a hovering UFO and their technology makes it go crap.

There's a huge difference in size for one and a great deal more complexity in adjusting to the relevant settings to capture the shot/shutter speed of something that has just appeared with the potential to move. It's not the same.

What you're doing is comparing the equivalent of a quick selfie to a bird in flight? There's no real comparison :This and the fact most of the public use phones as opposed to high end camera gear like myself.

I watched the space station one night it was clear skies and I happened to be staring up there.
and what about every other day of your life? how much time do you think you really spent looking at the sky? probably a few percent of your whole life.

Satellites aren't always recording constant footage and they have limits to where they can take images based on their orbit and the time of day.

if UFOs are real lets face it, we only see them because they want us to.

you could cover an aircraft in LEDs, have it blend in with the sky and be near invisible to the naked eye or photography and that's with current tech.

for all we know a UFO has a radar sig the size of a mosquito and could be sitting right before our eyes without us being able to see it.

they wouldn't even need that much of an advancement over us maybe like 100years and they would probably be able to do that.

what if UFOs are slowly getting us used to them, rather than our governments slowly revealing the truth

You are being facetious here. In addition your missing the point.

It's not the application of technologies unknown that's limited the taking of clear photos, but the woeful inadequacy of the public taking them along with the type of equipment they use.

You miss the point, since 1970 I have read 1000s of books/articles on UFO literature, I have quite a lot of documentaries on my NAS and virtually watch everything that comes out on UFOs but I've yet to see anything to convince me.
I'm not easily led but I really want to believe.
Even though I follow Drakes Equation and the Fermi Paradox I am open to just one lifeform that MIGHT have made it here many 1000s (millions) of years ago, who knows they could still be here somewhere but I'm not having that there are 1000s of vehicles and 100s of different aliens because that is what we have at the moment.
The existence of an intelligent lifeform at the same time as us that can make it here is quite basically ridiculous.

Isnt this was we have been debating a few pages about? I still waiting on why they can jam basic radar probe yet forgot to flip the switch for infra-red and the other 'simple' tech we use if they are superior and technical beyond our capacity. That doesn't add up, its nonsensical. If they don't want us to see them - and lets not forget they have had decades of sightings to perfect their own behaviour and refine their technology - they are being a bit sloppy wouldn't you say?

Moreover, why are these craft jamming radar sensors in the first place? If they can travel great speeds and defy gravity then why not just get out of range - since that's what they can easily do anyway? Why do they have to appear in the range of the radar sensors and jam them? Why are threy there? It all sounds very suspect to me - almost as if this craft is purposely there testing the capabilities of our radar sensors deliberately - either to probe and test us defensively or examine and gather information about us definsively. Either way it seems very focused on our defences - which again I find very intriguing and can't help but speculate whether this is could very well be experimental military aircraft technology that is testing its own defence capabilities - or a foreign power doing the same.

I think they want to be seen. They've been here for a while and have even reportedly activated and deactivated the lunch codes on ICBM's at Melstrom Air base to show they can. The fact that we are still here as a consequence shows whatever or whoever they are mean us no real physical harm unless threatened.

There was a Russian case involving some military divers who attempted to capture an "alien" who then attacked the divers under water to evade capture.

The weirdest one I came across involved a village somewhere which was attacked over the period of a week or two. The residents complained they were being shot at with heat rays. The army were brought in and the village doctor confirmed having to treat the villagers burns. One of the army officers killed himself. I wish I could find the specifics. Great for storytelling around a campfire.

I've heard about UFOs jamming radar signals, but where is this information from? Any source/citation? I haven't actually seen the 60 mins program. What does a jammed signal look like? How does a radar operator even know they are being jammed? How does radar work? :)

Do you have anything to support this because it's a B-grade movie at best but god damn would I watch it.
