I tried that. Nobody wanted to join in. There was also an OCUK discord but that got taken over by the real deal.

I hosted a public client where all you needed was a nick without registering as well. The IRC users moved over tho their own discord server and I then disbanded the IRC.

I'm talking about long-established channels, not OCUK specific. But fair enough.
