petrol prices

An increase every few weeks though (current situation)

13p extra a litre compared to this time last year and that DOES add up :(

A couple of weeks back I worked out that for every 10p rise, I had to do 1½ hours overtime a month to make up the difference or something silly like that.

£55.99 for 48.72 litres of supermarket unleaded. However with doing a few more miles on my weeks holiday couple of weeks ago I was able to up the mpg of my 1.8 Mondeo to 33mpg! (half motorway miles, rest of tank town miles).

Planning on cycling to work more, so I should make this tank last at least a month.

What are you taking about?

If oil drops so will petrol prices. But i dont think we will see it drop to the point where we see £1 a litre ever again.

err what are you talking about? your are disagreeing as well as agreeing with me at the same time

if oil drops to $60, our price should also drop below 90p, but im sure by then a extra 10p tax will be on it, at least.

Oil seems to be slowly dropping, it's now at $124.280. I doubt fuel prices will drop though but they shouldn't rise as fast at the moment.

Oil has been doing that for about the last 10 days. This is the second time in that period it has touched the $124 mark. I suspect it will rise again shortly.

Where do you get these ideas?

There is not a chance 10 more pence will be added to the fuel tax.
