How has Welbeck gotten anywhere near that list?!?! Wilshere has apparently played 20 games this season as well so therefore should be in ahead of plenty of better players with better seasons under their belts...
 
Lukaku for YPOTY and Mata for POTY.

I don't think players should be able to be on the shortlist for both awards, it's just silly.

I don't mind Hazard being in the YPOTY, despite people (Man U fans ;)) saying he hasn't lived up to 30m he never was going to yet, he's had a good season at a unstable club and I think he merits a place there. He shouldn't be in the main one though, surely Michu for that, or Zabaleta?
 
Michu should definitely be in there, he's gone off the boil a little as the season has gone on (though he's not alone there) but 17 goals IIRC in his debut season for a team like Swansea scoring against all the top sides is an amazing achievement.
 
Benteke has been absolutely phenomenal this season for the Villa.

Personally think Michu should be in the mix and don't think Hazard has been consistent enough for the main award.

I do hope Brad Guzan is rightly considered for the team of the season because despite us having a shocking season, he's been fantastic every week
 
Rvp? Same situation as michu he just has more profile than michu. Both have dipped in form dramatically.

Carrick? Welbeck? Not sure is srs. You can tell these are token English/ utd players based on profile and nationality.

If these have been utds best players this season though it indicates how poorly the rest of the utd team have performed.

I agree with you in terms of players only being nominated for one of the two awards. I also think the age of the young players needs clearing up.
