Hi guys

Just wanted some advice please. I love my Primo case and it is epic in size but I seem to be having some problems with rattling - specifically of the upper case filter. I have three fans venting outwards up top...2x Phanteks 140mm and a Corsair 120mm and at certain fan speeds the filter rattles and becomes very noisy!

It is V2 of the case, where I believe these issues had been ironed out.

Any advice? Should I move one of the fans to the bottom? Current config is:

2 Phanteks fans at the front as standard drawing air in
1 Phanteks 140 mm drawing air in from the bottom
1 Corsair 120 mm pushing air out at bottom
1 x H75i (2 x 120 mm pulling air in at top rear through rad)
2 x Phanteks 140 mm pushing air out the top
1 x Corsair 120 mm pushing air out at top

Have you tried installing the fans directly beneath the filter ?

This is where I have my fans installed, because I have my radiator hanging
directly below them.

Also, how do you know if you have Version 1 or 2 case, just curious
to what mine is,having just bought it recently.

Nope have not tried installing them just below the filter, but that sounds like a good idea!

I purchased it as V2 (as advertised by the place I got it from) but it doesn't actually say anywhere that it is, not even on the box!

Remove the bottom rear 140 and put it next to the other one at bottom, the cool air will help with video card cooling.

I am actually going to just get another Phanteks 140 mm to put at the bottom :)

Also just moved the fans to just below the filter, seem to be much quieter :)

On the lookout for a new case and to do my first attempt at watercooling. Does everyone here feel this case is better than the Corsair 750D or are they much the same?

Was going to get the 750D but for air or water this case is way better.

Thanks for helping me make the decision. A friend bought the 750D this week and I'd rather not have the same case as him anyway. If this case is better then all the more reason to go for it!

I think the Primo is better designed, better built, has more fans, has more accessories, has more versatility, is bigger, but costs more. But the Enthoo Pro and Enthoo Luxe are about same size with more features and better prices than 750D

Obsidian 750D = 235x546x560mm for £124.99
Enthoo Primo . = 260x650x600mm for £199.99
Enthoo Luxe . =. 235x560x550mm for £119.99
Enthoo Pro. . = . 235x535x550mm for £89.99

Check out some reviews and judge for yourself.:D

^ Indeed, I'd take a Luxe over my 750D probably right now

However, I don't like the looks of the Pro much :( Looks like a £40 case!
Luxe, now we're talking, though I still prefer the looks of the 750D over the Luxe, but overall the Luxe it would be for me

No rattling of the top panel here, but the plastic at the front does make a few noises just after i turn the system on. I used rubber bolts to mount the top fans as they allow the fans to slide along without marking the case.

For the v2 owners, have the clips that hold the panel at bottom front been improved? On the v1 model theyre quite hard to clip/unclip and can break easily.

I used to get a few rattles and cracking noises on my previous bitfenix shinobi xl, (steel and plastic case). My Lian Li A70F is all aluminium so no issues with it. Not a great case for cable management though.

My front panel is hard to unclip.

That was something everyone thought would be fixed on the v2 mate. If my clips do break, im gonna do a mod with a few small magnets to hold it in place. Seen it on another forum so ill need to dig it out again.

It's a bit annoying and should have been fixed really, but I'm not going to complain as I got the case for a great price, if it had been normal price I wouldn't have been happy.

When you find it link it here please, just in case.
