** PHANTEKS EVOLV SHIFT-X & SHIFT - GET SHIFTY **

Anyone tried to build in this case with ATX PSU?

I have the Shift X (Which lists ATX PSU's as compatible (Up to 160mm), but weirdly my EVGA 550GS doesn't
The Kettle Plug socket (The plastic bit where your cable plugs in) hits against the case using either orientation

Have I just been unlucky with the PSU choice?

have a feeling they may be all like that from such a tight design . maybe @NikTheSHNIK could take closer snaps of his current build to show you if they are all tight fitting ...

I moved the fan after taking this image so it was in front of the metal grill you can see here, screwing through the fan then case into the Rad. I had to use some elbow grease to get the cable to spin around and plug into the PSU but not enough elbow grease I thought the pressure on the cable would be too much.

Hmm, reading the specs of the Evolv Shift, it comes with the following:
  • Drive Trays:
1x 3,5" (internal, if no radiator is installed)
3x 2,5" (internal, 2 SSD brackets available, additional brackets can be acquired separately)
Do OCUK sell these additional 2.5" brackets? I have 3 SSDs that I'd like to keep!

I moved my 2.5 and 3.5 drives over into my Shift last night. Finally got my ass together to put my old machine on the Member's Market. I'm still amazed at how much you can fit in that little beast and it looks gorgeous.
