Ignore the crinkled desk mat, I have a new one on the way (they don't wash well in the washing machine ). New desk setup, was in the summerhouse with an ikea bekant but for 9 months of the year it's either too hot or I'm spending £4 a day running an electric heater so moved myself into the box room.

I very much doubt everyone has a tidy desk in general without them cleaning it for a photo.. here's mine.. and its only gonna get worse as my study is tiny and i'm building a replacement rig behind me.

Sorry to say but.... . It isn't too bad; but mine is generally quite clinical. The clutter gets too much and then I want to organise it. Lost an hour on Friday recategorising my draws .

Taking this as my last photo with the sturdy Dell S2721DGFA (26/11/2020). It replaced the legendary Dell U2711 (29/09/2012). On Monday my Alienware 32" QD-OLED AW3423DWF comes though. Can't wait! The S2721 will be relegated to the garden room.... the U2711 I really need to get rid of but I would feel so bad to bin it, lol.

I am going to grab a FlexiSpot E7 desk once the prices fall low enough for me to not feel I am getting scammed, lol.

I'm not sure tbh --- It is "only" £480 but that includes a finished 180x80cm maple top - which I guess is only available as a kitchen diner type worktop typically at equal cost with a lot of excess. So the frame therefore is "only" £280? Which didn't seem bonkers compared to IKEA with a conti-board lid!

i could'nt agree more. I would mistake it for paper and start doodling.. thats why i have a large mouse mat on mine. Don't think the missus would approve if she saw what i've been doing underneath

I don't know how long it'll stay this tidy but I'll enjoy it while it lasts. My loft, shed and every cupboard is an absolute tip but if I can't see the mess it doesn't exist
