Love the Croatia coast shot.
Its got a really 'picture on the wall' feel about it and reminds me of several holidays that had similar surroundings, sat with a beer watching the sunset.

I was looking back through some photos I took in Geneva and thought I'd have a go editing this one. If I was any good in photoshop I'd move the paraglider out a bit. Unfortunately the photo was taken as JPEG and so has lost some detail in the blacks (although it shows much better in Lightroom?)
Sadly not, I was mostly getting up 4-5m and getting into my sleeping bag once the sunset rather than staying up late.
I really wanted this shot, Moose with the Tetons in the background. Lighting is not amazing here but good enough for me. Was on the final day of a week in the park so got lucky in the end. 10 minutes earlier the sky was much better but the moose was completely hidden
I have never seen cumulus as dark and as foreboding as this before. The green colour in the stream comes from special cyanobacteria that can survive the high temperatures & sulfuric acid of the geyser runoff. The oranges and yellows are different species that survive at different temperatures.

That is some serious cumulus, I bet it looked awesome to the naked eye.
The ground level looks pretty toxic as well.

Love this, I can't wait until it is light enough for me to start catching shots like this on my way home.
