[PIC_THREAD] Landscapes, Architecture, Seascapes

A few more attempts at dusk shots at a spot near me :)

My previous attempts didn't seem sharp enough so I went back for more and the light was different so it was a pleasant surprise. I should have changed lens for the closer look at the turn off but instead I made do with a crop of the shot at 22mm! I'm sure I'll pop up there again at some point.

Just booked a couple of nights on the Isle of Eigg, looking forward to a bit of peace and quiet! :) Stunning place, visited there 2 years ago.

After the tide receded there was a deluge which left this interesting texture on the sand patterns.

Really great shot... A very interesting crop that draws the viewer into the picture... Great work. Please be sure to post the gems you get on your travels!!

This photo needs more work. The lens flare needs to go and would like more details in the rock on the left. Despite that I really like this photo in print, has a certain ethereal quality to it.

Stunning!! Another awesome shot D.P. looks like a still from Lord of the Rings..

Thanks for the feedback guys.

A classic view from Bryce Canyon, sunrise vista. I actually find Bryce a challenge to photograph because there is so many possibilities and so much going on that it is hard to concentrate on generating a single image or concept. Everywhere you look there is something of interest so you get distracted and loose focus hurrying on to get Te next hoodoo or bristlecone pine.

I am not a big fan of the standard photos as shown below because there is too much going, not easy for your eyes to follow a path. And as with many sunrise shots, the dynamic range between the sunbathed cliffs and shadow valleys s challenging to accommodate.

Just a rework of an old shot I had lying around. Had a bit of trouble masking the tree line while evening out the exposure. Not sure how you guys do that with your shots

Went out on a clear night couple of days ago, by the time I got where I was going some clouds came :(

Need to get a Tripod and turn on long exposure noise reduction next time.

Location is Portstewart Northern Ireland
