Heh - there's some good stuff in here! no putting anyone to shame!

I actually spent about 3 hours walking up and down the beach looking for EXACTLY the right patterns in the sand, so sad lol.

aha! a fellow LF photographer, we're pretty rare these days 8)

Yes - I have a full set of Lee filters, they're a pain because each one is made to order but they're worth it, because they're the only filters (that I know about) which are totally neutral and don't introduce any casts.

I mostly use a 0.9 hard grad (3 stops) but sometimes I use a 0.9 AND a 0.3 to balance the exposure, Velvia 50 has such rubbish latitude.

Will manily be shooting in B&W I think as I process and scan it at home. Colour a little bit more tricker ;)

Will take a look at the Lee filters system. Still waiting on my Schneider Kreuznach Super Angulon 90mm & 180mm to come back from being serviced and repaired then its off to Snowdonia in October for a week. :D

Ah, nice one!

I don't do much B&W but most guys I know who shoot it don't use grads at all, they just use red filters - as a red filter darkens blue skies, in any case - experiment and have fun!

Some people think the louvre is beautiful but I wasn't a big fan of the architecture. Looked like lots of scaffolding got me...

^^^ I love tunnel view, can never get tired of that!
It's such an amazing view as you exit that tunnel and BOOM there you are!
I definitely need to get back there in the Spring as when I went down to Cathedral Beach I was presented with a dried out lake bed! The crappy sunset didn't help either!
