waterfall
I like this, I've always wanted to find a waterfall near me but I don't think there are many around...

Went out today for some long exposures around sunset - not a majorly impressive sunset but not something I do very often, can't help but feel it's missing something though (like, I don't know, a subject.. there's normally a boat sitting in this lake but I think it's been taken in for winter)

Taken the E-M5 on a couple of little jaunts while in Cornwall in between the festivities and snoozes. The elements haven't really played ball but fun learning a new camera. Live exposure mode very useful for those ultra low light situations. Quick n dirty laptop edits -

Heh thanks. That was pretty much the first proper shot out of the camera. The second one I sat on that rock for an hour waiting for some good light or an interesting sky, neither of which appeared. By the time I actually bothered to press the shutter it was so dark I needed a 5 minute exposure.

Something simple from this morning. Have pre-visualised this scene in winter with the first light hitting Bass Rock, and fiery clouds in the background above Fife, but hey, I'll settle for drizzle and blustery winds any day of the week as long as there are pastel tones and a blank canvas to work with courtesy of a retreating tide :)

have 1500 pics from the show. think i got them down to 1200 ish after weeding out the bad ones.

they are zoomed is a little via photshop then cut to see more detail and to cut out a lot of the sky. used a 300mm lens and got some cracking shots of some amazing aircraft on display.
