[PIC_THREAD] Landscapes, Architecture, Seascapes

Thanks Colombo, yes it was a little overcast, but saying that, here is the same shot in colour.

As for the colour conversion - I just like Black and White :)

very nice. such a calm day, the water is like glass

Thanks Guyver - it really is a lovely spot. A few years ago I went there when it was frozen over and you could hear the sounds of the ice sheets as they were forming scraping over one another.

The area off to the left was up for sale a couple of years ago, the National Trust launched a campaign to purchase the farm to safeguard it and managed to raise the money from voluntary donations.

There is a house overlooking this view that was renovated to an exceptionally high standard a few years ago, it is painted burgundy red would you believe! Sounds horrible, but it is a superb building - if I every win the lottery, the owner is going to get a visit with a blank cheque :)

Erm, there is a road, the A498 about 30 feet behind the camera :)

Not a particularly busy road, but it takes traffic from Capel Curig to Beddgelert, so it can be a bit touristy in the Summer.

Some oldies from me, first is Whitby Abby second is Corfe Castle
