Just learning this whole camera stuff, with a rather battered third hand Pentax k-500. So I apologize for how crap these may come across (plus my first excuse is the change from raw to jpeg has left allot to be desired)

I have been playing around with some gradual ND filters my girlfriend brought.

As I live in Wales plenty of moving water to photograph...

First week with my first DSLR, climbed the local hill Any criticism more than welcome

Look at investing in either a polarizer filter, or if you like landscape photography, a square Neutral Density Gradient (ND Grad) filter set. They will help you get good exposure for shots like those. I like the rainy clouds above the hills, you can make them 'pop' a bit by adding more contrast from an image editor like Picassa. A good start

Been a while since I have taken any photos, here is a photo from Valley, Anglesey. Had a tough time with getting good exposure due to intense evening sunlight.
