I should have got her to fold her arms as well, but just getting her to stand still for a photo is a challenge!

Tell me about it, mine wont even stay still when she's asleep so I've stopped trying. I'm such a defeatist!

Be careful with the colours, her face is reflecting the flowers which is giving it quite a green tone

I wanted to try taking an indoor picture on a white background so took this:

It was more a horrible yellow background because all I have was a fairly week desk lamp to illuminate the statue, used lightroom to whiten it up.

Pretty standard stuff, hilarious though as we wound up with a pretty substantial mob halfway through. Couple drafts from today.

Yes all natural, wasn't a staged shot or anything, came home from work and he was sat on the floor and looked cute, grabbed my camera from the side which was only out as I had been taking pics of the house earlier (hence the 17-40mm lens).

Light coming from left and right sides via windows.
