First time out with my new Lens so took a bit of getting used to. Also it was BLOODY LOUD, even with my ear plugs in I had to leave half way through so only managed 3 bands:

Thought it was interesting to leave the guy watching in this one.. interested in peoples thoughts on that.

Felt I was getting a little lazy with the subtler processing, gave the old toolset a flex on a couple from today beyond lightroom processing.

Semi-transparent gradient layers, blending set to screen usually, combined with selective colour layers lifting the blacks off black and toning the neutrals.

There are a couple more in depth bits of curve adjustments and HSL tweaks but those vary from photo to photo and aren't so crucial for the hazy look.

Some Glastonbury pics, used a point and shoot for these (Ricoh GRDIII) as I couldn't be bothered to bring anything bigger, I actually saw quite a few D800s/5Ds with 24-70s on non-media folk as well!:

Testing out the Nikon 50mm AF-S f/1.8. So far it certainly seems sharper than the AF-D version.

D610, ISO 500, f/1.8

And my new Nikon 85mm AF-S f/1.8. All i got to do now is save for the 24mm :D

D610, ISO 900, f/1.8
