Weird size due to resampling for my webpage.

A few snaps from the weekend's Billing Land Rover show.

(1) A RangeRover demonstrating the correct way to enter water, nice and gentle...

(3) Anything a RangeRover can do, a Defender can do better.

(4) Of course it wasn't all nice and clean water.

(5) Only those with mud tyres need apply.

(6) The poor soul who gets to wade into the thick stuff to attach the tow rope.

(7) Momemtum did seem to be key to getting through the muddy puddle.

(8) The Duck was out of his element. This guy got stuck fast.

Thanks Jester. took around 1300 shots on the day so still a few to go through. i really struggled on the day with slower shutter speeds for panning trying to get the older propeller planes not to look like they were frozen. Defo more practice needed on that. I was ok with shutter speeds down to about 1/320th but anything lower I struggled to get sharp images. The red arrows were much easier for me.

Flipping superb shaggyd. That second one would be a damn fine print.

edit: and your's Skalaberg. And your second would also make a damn fine print :p

Thanks, the conditions were super bright with the strong sun in my face. The official Red Arrows commentator was right next to us at RAF Valley's sports field, so he informed the families in advance of the next routine. But it was still fun, as we didn't know what to expect. :D
