We are happy to announce that PICO PUI release 5.2 is in soft launch with full release starting next week (completed by November 18th).

  1. Added "Lock Screen" function to protect user privacy;
  2. Added "Beginner's Guide" application, this app helps you understand the basic operations of Pico OS to improve the new user experience;
  3. The overall performance of the PlayArea has been upgraded, and the screen effect and algorithm has been optimized;
  4. Improved battery life and optimized the power management strategy when using while charging;
  5. Optimized the color performance of the ColorSeeThrough;
  6. Optimized the network performance;
  7. Optimized the algorithm for hand tracking to improve the recognition accuracy;
  8. Fixed the problem of screen drift when using reclining mode;
  9. Fixed the issue that the speaker would have a sizzling sound when the battery is low;
  10. Increased the range of the audio volume to allow for a better listening experience;
  11. Fixed the problem of low frame rate when sliding the appstore page;
  12. Improved system performance and stability;

I cant seem to get the pico 4 to screencast ie cast its screen to a tablet or my phone either using wifi or google - anyone have success with this? tried many times here ...
 
Anyone else got walkabout mini golf on steam (using through VD on pico 4) ?

do you get a slight audio delay ?

When i pull the trigger to put, 2 secs later i get the vibration on my controller/audio
 
I'm new here and have a question, when the pico4 is connected via cable to PC, does it drain the battery?

Like, can I only play with cable for the 1.5 hours until i have to recharge it?

I'm not sure when connected to a PC, but I know when mines plugged into the mains, and streaming via virtual desktop the battery stays at 100%

Aah, ok, so at least I can play from PC without it dying on me. I was worried that it was always battery-bound when playing via PC.

My unit will arrive tomorrow, so looking forward to trying pancake lenses for the first time!!

It's a lot lighter then the quest. Although I get some light leakage from the sides ie the pad doesn't block all the side light.

BTW love blade and sorcery lots of fun to bash some skulls.

Worked for me when I tried it on my phone with the pico VR assistant app…. There’s a little pop up that comes up in the headset asking for permission to stream which you have to acknowledge pretty quickly.
